Mickey turned on the radio in the Blazer. It was locked on her favorite station HITS 103 dot 5. Toronto's best station. And she didn't only feel this way because she won tickets from them. They played the best music, some dance and rap and a bit of everything in between. Tracee sat up front with Mickey and Jenn and Laura were in the back, all four of them grooving to the music.
"Now for the traffic report brought to you by Chapters book stores....."
"Hold on guys I want to hear this." Mickey said as she turned up the radio.
"Well everywhere you go there is a traffic jam. All major routes are moving extremely slow today on account of the Backstreet Boys concert tonight at the Skydome. I suggest that if you're going to the concert that you leave early. And if you don't have to go out, then don't. Now to get all you concert goers in the mood here's two songs by the Boys. First let's started of with Backstreet's Back, cause they are back in Toronto!"
Mickey turned up the radio even louder so they could feel the music. Meanwhile Tracee was freaking out because of the traffic.
"We better not miss this concert!!" She said, unable to sit still in her seat.
"Don't worry Trace I know where we're going and I know that we will make it there in time."
"Which way are we going? And better yet where are we going to park?" Piped Jenn.
"Well I'm gonna take Lakeshore and then I know a place we can park on Queens Quay. Only problem is that we have to walk about fifteen minutes or so. I don't mind but is it ok with you guys?"
"Yeah that's fine." Laura answered before the others. Then reluctantly the other two agreed that it would be their best bet. It would be a mad house around the Skydome and when and if they finally did find a parking spot it would cost them a fortune and they wanted to save their money for souveneirs.
"We should have taken the subway." Tracee complained as she slouched down in her seat. The other three chuckled at her. She worried to much when she got over excited.

A little while later the girls pulled into the parking lot of a wharehouse. It looked like a spooky place because it was abandoned. In fact it wasn't though, it was used for movie sets. Mickey had been an extra in a movie and this is where it was filmed and that's how she knew about it. She was just waiting for Tracee to say something about it, but she kept quiet.
"Ok does everyone have everything? Laura you have my stuff and the tickets right?"
"Yeah Mick, don't worry I won't be forgetting the tickets."
"Alright then everyone, let's go!"
The other girls were happy to see that Mickey was getting excited and she seemed to be forgetting Matthew for now. Jenn looked down and noticed that she had taken off the ring Matthew had given her. Jenn smiled to herself and walked along side of Mickey.
"I hope there aren't any annoying little people around us. And nobody better be holding up signs! Especially since you wouldn't let me bring one." Complained Jenn as she tried to keep up to Mickey's pace.
"You're right I wasn't going to let you bring a sign. I would like to see the Boys and not a piece of cardboard." Explained Mickey.
"Mickey, where are we meeting Tony at?" Interupted Laura. Tony was the dj from the radio station.
"At gate 34. It's going to take us forever just to get there. We still have about five minutes just to get to the Skydome."
The girls continued walking, actually Tracee seemed to be hopping. All four of the friends were very excited now as they could see other fans making their way to the Skydome. They have been fans of the Boys since they first broke out in Canada. Finally they would get the chance to meet them! When they arrived at the Skydome they realized that they were at Gate 16 so they had to walk around to get to Gate 34. There were so many fans! Parents were waiting with their kids, scalpers were trying to buy tickets instead of sell them! It was very kaotic. They picked up their pace while walking around the Skydome looking at all the fans. As they were coming around to Gate 34 Mickey saw Tony waiting for them with a few other people.
"Hey Tony."
"Hey Mickey, what's up? So are ya excited?"
"What do you think?"
"Mickey this is Maureen, she's from the magazine Teen People. And you remember my friend Kris and his girlfriend Rebecca."
"Hi, these are my friends Jenn, Laura and Tracee."
"So you guys know each other?" Questioned Maureen as she looked at Tony.
"Yeah," Tony started, "Mickey and Tracee have come to a few of our Live To Air nights."
"Oh, that sounds like fun."
"Ok Tony can we go see them now!!!" Tracee said as she practically attacked him.
"No, not now, after the concert." He laughed. "But we can go in now though."
"Alright!" They all exclaimed at once. They were getting a lot of weird and snotty looks as they were passing by the crowd who was still not allowed into the buliding yet. Normally Mickey would have said something but not tonight. She didn't care about anything but the Backstreet Boys right now and she was on here way to see them.
After making their way past the gaurds and through the maze of the Skydome they finally got to their seats. There were eight seats right behind the Pit sectioned off for them. They thought this was extremely cool, not only because they were right up front but because they wouldn't have anyone pushing them. These relieved the others who were afraid that Mickey would lose her temper if someone got in her way. They all sat down and chattered away. A few minutes later the other people started coming in and the noise level went up quite a bit. A lot of people were coming in with signs and painted faces.
Tony and Kris were looking around with weird looks on their faces. Rebecca asked them what was on their minds.
"Why do girls get like this? I love Nick painted all over their faces and arm. And some of those signs. My god they're saying that they want to have AJ's and Brian's kids. That's a bit extreme isn't it?" Kris said as he kept looking around in amazement.
"You're not jealous are you dear? You know you would love it if you had tens of thousands girls screaming at you." Rebecca shot back mischeviously.
"No I only want to make one girl scream." Kris answered with a smile on his face.
"Ok guys, this isn't the place. I think it would be cool, in a way." Tony replied.
Then all of a sudden the background music stopped and the lights went out and the fans, mostly girls, screamed so loud. Tony and Kris eventually got to cheering with the six women they were with. They were all psyched for Aaron Carter to open the show just as he had done the last time they were in Toronto, only this time he would sing a lot more songs. It was almost as if it was a double concert.
A couple of minutes Aaron Carter came running out on stage to remix music for Crush On You. The crowd went wild and the concert was finally underway!!
