Kevin Shields is So Sexy
Kevin Patrick Shields was born 21 May,1963,in New York City.When he was 6,his family moved to Dublin,Ireland,where he befriended
another young boy,named Colm O'Ciosaig.He describes himself as having been rather rebellious when young;he joined a 'gang' comprised of other
kids,and they spent much of their time in mischief.Interested in music,he and Colm started a band,which later grew to include Dave Conway and his girlfriend,Tina,
and was named My Bloody Valentine,after a Canadian B-grade slasher film.By 1987,the band consisted of Shields,O'Ciosaig,Debbie Googe,and Bilinda Butcher,who was (and appparently still is)
involved with Shields.The rest is,to overuse a phrase,history.
Overwhelming perfectionism on his behalf is rumored to be among the reasons MBV hasn't had an album out in 7 years,but despite that perfectionist streak,it's generally agreed that Kevin Shields
is possibly one of the greatest guitarists ever to emerge.

First off---Kevin Shields is exquisitely lovely.Those eyes,that mouth,the tousled hair....the man's hot.And utterly brilliant.That blissy voice!! That shimmering guitar!!!So,here you have it---my Shrine to Kevin Shields.
