Meet The Moffatts!

Yes, you've just been introduced to our newest infatuation, The Moffatts! These incredibly talented Canadian boys are all brothers and, believe it or not, have barely reached the legal driving age. They just recently released their first U.S. album, but before that, they had released a plethora of country and pop albums and singles in Canada. Talent must run in the family, because their mom was able to pop out three of the suckers in one try! That's right, Clint, Bob, and Dave are 15-year-old triplets. Scott is their older brother(and Jabie's other fantasy boyfriend), but only by a year--he turned 16 in March. We're sure that by now you're getting a little scared by the fact that we are infatuated with boys 3 years our junior, but we can explain why! Not only that, but give us a few minutes, and we can convince you
Why you should like The Moffatts:

*They're talented. These boys have been singing since they were 3 and 4 years old, which means they've probably gotten their fair share of training. And not only do they play their own instruments, but they've added songwriting into their pool of talents.

*They've been professional musicians for 4+ years. Unlike their "boyband" rivals, who's popularity is being driven by their cuteness, merchandise, teenybopper magazines, managers' persistence, etc., The Moffatts have been making music for years, which shows that they aren't in it for the money or fame.

*Their cute accents. To quote the great band, Five Iron Frenzy: "They say 'eh?' instead of 'what' or 'duh', that's the mighty power of Canada." We admit it, we fall head over heels for those cute little Canadian accents! Although they're subtle at first, once you listen to the CD over and over (and over and over and over...), they become obvious, and we can't resist the tingly feeling they cause.

*Their songs are infectuous. This is one of those CD's where once you finish listening to the last track, you push play again. (We all know we can't resist listening to Scott's sexy voice...) It's also one of those CD's that grows on you. Although you might not like the whole CD at first, trust us, you'll be singing "Say'n I Love U" in no time. Case in point: Jabie listened to this CD 27 times while moving from California to Minnesota.

*They're Canadian. It must be the water, because Canada seems to have recently started spawning talented people! What would the world be without William Shatner, Alanis Morrissette, or that cool ice skater named Elvis? Not only does Canada lead to endearing accents, it also has some of the best music shows (YTV, Much Music, Electric Circus... we feel jipped!) and double decker buses! Yes, Canada is a great place and The Moffatts are a great Canadian group. :o)

*They're CUTE. Just in case you failed to perceive the obvious, The Moffatts are babelicious youngins. Yes, so they are not quite... er, developed yet, but give them a few years, and old Father Time will turn them into manly hunks with hottie bodies!!! Anyways, you must be special if you are only 16 yet can make an 18 year old girl keep her friend awake until 1:30 at night even though her friend woke up that morning at FOUR FREAKING A.M., by talking about you. *Katie's note* (thanks a lot jabie)

To further persuade you (like you need any MORE convincing!), we're putting up some wavs and pictures of the guys to win over your hearts and make you go STRAIGHT out to the nearest music store and DEMAND the Moffatts cd (its called "Chapter 1: A New Beginning" for your information.)

Our VERY favorite Moffatts song, the entire song is way awesome, this is not even the best part:
Written All Over My Heart

Their version of a classic Beatles song
She Loves Me

Just in case you cared, here are our favorite Moffatts:

Katie:
Clint
Jabie: Gee... could it possibly be... Scott?
Arcay: Its a tossup between Dave and Bob, but Dave almost always wins over.
