Brooke with her chicken at fun day. It really wasn't much fun. It was mostly learning about chickens. We learned that our chickens are very low quality and the only showable chicken we have is Monster (the white one).
So how did Brooke come up with the name "Monster"?
Ever since the beginning Monster has been the biggest and very bold. We just thought Monster was going to be a rooster. We didn't know until they started to get their color that Monster was just a different breed! So we have just not changed her name.
When Ellie and PopPop I.D. were in Florida they took some pictures of Brooke and Ashlyn.

Ashlyn was excited to show Ellie and PopPop, "look! my shoe ites!" (lights). Her little flip-flops light up when she walks, like some kids' sneakers do. She wanted the camera to "take a picture of my eggs." (legs - she doesn't say the letter L). She also pointed the camera out the window so she could "take a picture of that ache." (lake)

Brooke's first horse show with Kitty
This is her first time showing at a western pleasure show. She got a 5th in color class out of 13. She got a 3rd in showmanship out of 8. Then she got a 4th in walk trot pleasure.

Tony and Brooke made a scarecrow for Halloween. Ashlyn was a little scared of it. She didn't want to help and would not even stand by it.
