When I got there, Rosie informed me, "It's my birthday, Ellie!" I thought, oh dear, here we go. I told her no, not yet, her birthday will be in a few weeks, today is Boyd's birthday. Of course, she was having none of that and kept insisting it was her birthday.
She loved the decorations (a gift that keeps on giving, thank you Laurie!) and was very upset when Mr. Klutzy pulled down part of one of the dangly bits and broke it. He hung it back up there, which didn't quite satisfy her, but Becky and I both assured her it was fine, and she finally stopped worrying about it.

Well, Rosie was wanting cupcakes, but Becky had made dirt cake instead. So we joked that okay, yes, we're having cupcakes - pizza cupcakes! Because Becky made those "pizza ball" things for supper, that we'd made for Bible club one time. Rosie wanted to know if they had "spinkles" on top, LOL.

When Rosie saw Dwight taking more worms for his dirt cake, she wanted more too. I think she only had one to begin with, and she ate it right away. So Becky gave her another one, but this time after one bite she made a horrible face and said, "it's too spicy!" And Rosie ate up most of the honeybee candy that Laurie sent Boyd. She also ate a lot of the bigfoot rootbeer mints. It helped her feel better about not having a birthday, lol.
