Boyd's Birthday Party
Seven Years Old

In this first picture, he's opening up a PC game of "I Spy" and also a couple of books that were from Grandma and Grandpa. After cake and ice cream, the first thing he wanted to do was play his new computer game.

Then he dug into the big gift bag from Aunt Laurie and Uncle Eric.

In this next picture he was trying to test out the periscope without removing it from the packaging.

Oh, and you may have noticed that his mouth is blue. That's because on the way home from the movies, they'd stopped at Sonic and he got a blue colored slushie.

...and 7 dollars!

When Boyd opened the card from Aunt Laurie and Uncle Eric that had seven dollars in it Becky helped him understand why it was such an unusual amount.

Becky had come across a fabulous find - a complete set of Phineas and Ferb characters. You can see how excited Boyd was about that! And also the Luigi shirt that she found! It's pretty rare to find Luigi clothing. Or anything Luigi, for that matter.

omigoodness, what is this?
total kewlness!

Becky also discovered a puzzle book with Boyd's favorite book character, Junie B. Jones. Aunt Diane and Uncle Jim sent Boyd a card with money - yay!

After things calmed down, Dwight went over for a closer look at things, while Rosie taste-tested the toy motorcycle.

Meanwhile, Bishy helped Boyd (!!) remove all the Phineas and Ferb characters from the plastic casing so he could start playing with them.

While the kids were quietly playing with Boyd's new things, Becky put the finishing touches on Boyd's specially made sand pail cake. She said it's a lot easier to make than dirt cake, and Rosie sure liked it.

isn't it cute!

Here's Becky "shoveling" out the cake onto the plates.

After cake, I.D. gave Rosie a little bit of ice cream. Then he was her new best friend.

who's got you Rosie?
awww...

Becky's friend Debbie from Florida also sent Boyd a birthday gift - wasn't that sweet? It was a little character of a man, that he was calling an "Agent." He was wearing a suit and fedora, so he did look a lot like an agent.
