About me...

Friends, family, and those I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet!

This web site began in 1998, because of a few subjects I am very passionate
about - Hysterectomy, Ovarian Removal, Endometriosis, and Bioidentical Hormone
Therapy (aka NHRT and BHRT). In the hope that I may help even one woman, in their quest for
information/knowledge, support or contact. It turned in to much more.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm the mother of a sweet beautiful daughter,
who is the sunshine of my life, along with my two equally as sweet Grandchildren.

I am thankful everyday for my blessings and the support of my family,
they are some of the best people I know!

In 1991, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, not without having to research symptoms
and all the reproductive diseases myself. It was I, who first suggested the
possibility to my doctor, then had to gently lead her by the hand through and to
the diagnostic operation that would confirm what I already knew. (Believe in
yourself and your gut feelings!)

Now, many years later, all the treatments and three surgeries, the last being
total hysterectomy that did indeed cure me of the
misunderstood disease (endometriosis) that plagues millions of women.

For years, I have researched endometriosis, hysterectomy,
and hormone replacement. We are lucky to have an astounding amount of
information available, starting with your local library all the way to
the Internet! I could go on about the mis- information out there
in regard to all four subjects but will not...you must research and come
to your own conclusions based on you! We must do what is right for our own
bodies, what feels right in our hearts and minds, not just accept what information
we are fed by those who may not have "our" best interests at heart. Feel
free to email me if you're in the mood for one of my long winded discussions,
need to talk or just say hi!

"Closing" I'm not a huge country music fan, but Garth Brooks couldn't have
summed up my feelings on life any better..."If tomorrow never comes,
would you know how much I love you? Did I try in every way, to show you
everyday....?" Be good to yourselves, count your blessings, seek for and
share the joy in your heart. Remember the "BIG" things...spend time with
those you love, let them know how important they
are to you...for...tomorrow may truly never come!

Don't forget the "small" things like walking in the park, listening to great
music, bubble baths, letting chocolate melt in your mouth and not in your
hands, hand held sunset strolls, and if you haven't met that someone special
yet, then do it for yourself ! Don't wait to start living..tomorrow may never come !
