Chalkpeople was originally founded by Ron Whalen and Andy Colbert in 1993 as Chalk People Cemetery but the name changed due to the ubiquitous misuses of the publics' perception of the band. Chalkpeople was recreated in 1995 when Bryce and J. were introduced into the band. It took a long time for founding members Ron and Andy to find two souls who fit so tightly in the overall essence that is Chalkpeople. As the band has grown through time, so has the sound and the power! The Chalkpeople sound is of whimsical abandon, furious passion luming underneath spiritual overtones and clouds of thunderous melodies!!! The sight and sound of Chalkpeople is one that you will not so easily forget. With rising success in the St. Pete/Tampa area they are looking to expand their listening audience.... everywhere!!

Since their joining, Chalkpeople has become like brothers knowing that success relies on them as a unit and that nothing can come between the objectives and dreams of the band.
