The new Supra DLX is completely loaded! It has the Haro 4130 Chromoly Big Blok frame, Haro StraightShooter forks, Fusion three-piece cranks, Araya Super 7X 48-spoke rims with Haro MegaHubs...the works. This bike was obviously built for people who are going to ride hard.
It also has some cool features. For example, to tighten the hubs, all you need is a ratchet, (not even a socket), insert it into the opening on the axle nut and start turning. The axles are 14 mm as well, so bending should not be a problem.
The Supra has a 20.75 inch top tube and 15 inch chainstays, making the bike long for freestyle, but perfect for dirt. The long top tube make bar tricks easier to complete without getting all tangled up in them, and the long chainstays make the bike easy to pull up with and manual on. The headtube and seat tube angles are 74 and 70 degrees respectively.
The tires on the Supra are what I consider the best tires for dirt. They are the Maxxis MaxDaddy knobbies. Although on hard dirt they are a little bumpy, it all pays off when you have perfect traction in loose or wet dirt.
While most jumping bikes come with a U-style break in the rear, the Supra has a Tektro V-style brake in the rear for supreme stopping power.
After Ryan Nyquist tried a backflip and came up short, the forks bent slightly. Don't sweat this, though, because any fork on the marklet would have bent after that.
The Supra is Haro's first dirt jumping bike, and they did a great job designing it. If you can't afford the features of the $599 Supra DLX, there is also a Supra for only $360 which has one-piece cranks to keep the price down.
