For the most part the only things I get trying to answer my questions are either "It's a miracle" or "You don't understand the Bible". Neither of those are answers, but mere "blow offs" from people who just can't answer a question. Below is the only worth while attempt.

Hi, chatted with you on Yahoo the other night and you were asking people to answer your bible questions. as to your questions about the "flat earth"...the word that is translated to circle in two verses that you mentioned...is the Hebrew word chuwg (pronounced khoog) which means circle, circuit, or compass. If you read it as "compass" you get a better meaning of what is being said. "It is He who sits above the "compass" of the earth..."
As far as the whole "ends of the earth thing"...i think your reaching really hard for questions to get that one...no offense. but if you are as well read as your library indicates, then you would know what a figure of speech was. and a note to that, most of those occurances are in the Psalms (Songs). In lyrics, how often do you use a scientific and clinical description?

Nice try Jeanette, butabout the compass, I looked it up in my Funk & Wagnalls... literally. So let's see what they say about compass.

That still states that the earth is a circle and circles are still two dimentional Please keep in mind, that when these people believed that the earth was flat, that they believe that there were ends of the world. They truly believed that you could sail off the end of the world.
