Where Did the Top of Jesus Go?

One of the first things that I noticed when I first saw the Shroud, was that Jesus was a man of no thickness. As anyone can plainly see in the above picture, the top of the front and back images are connected. If a human had really been in that shroud, there would be a seperation between the front and back image where the top of the head was. This is an obvious thing that points towards the Shroud being another hoax like the Cardiff Giant.
