God, Christians, and Homosexuals

There are two battle cries going through America. "We're here, we're queer, get used to it!" and "God Hates Fags!!!", The gays Vs. Christians.

There is an interesting fad going through Christian communities these days, the same Christians that say "love thy neighbor are going to their gay neighbor's funerals with signs that read slogans like "God Hates Fags" and "(The deceased) is in Hell" and taunting the greiving families, with bible in hand. But what does the Bible really say?

In Leviticus God commands that the people of Israel not to lie with mankind as woman kind. So there we have it, the Hebrews are not allowed to be homosexuals... God never said anything about people that are not of Israel.

Jesus never spoke about homosexuals in the Bible, in fact the only other words in a negative tone towards homosexuals is from Paul, but he spoke against heterosexual sex too.

Then of course let us not forget Sodom and Gomorrah, two cities destroyed by God himself. I searched and searched for where the Bible says those cities were destroyed because of homosexuality. It said that the cities were sinful. There were grief mentions of homosexuality, but never did it say that the homosexuality was the reason for the destruction.

Now, I am not a homosexual, nor do I condone homosexuality. BUT, I think it should be known that all these people bashing gays in the name of the lord are wrong, unless apparently they are bashing Hebrew homosexuals.
