The debate of allowing Bibles in school has been ongoing and going nowhere. I personally feel that the Bible should be allowed in school, but only if in high school and in an elective class on world religions where the Bible, Qur'an, and numerous other cannons are studied in context with their religions.

The problem with the Christian's side of the fight is that they want the Bible taught in science classes. And this flat out should never happen.

First off, the Bible is a cannon. This means that it holds absolutly no authority to anybody who doesn't believe in it. So to force the teaching of this on anyone is not only unethical, but dangerous as well.

The Bible is also incorrect in a scientific manner. How could anyone say that a book that says the earth is stationary and flat. In science if a text said this it would not only be taken out of schools, but the scientific community would throw darts at pictures of the author. So to say that the Bible should be taught in science classes is a joke. In fact, it should demand a psychiatric exam on whoever says it.

So basically the Bible should be taught in conjunction with other cannons in high school, but it should never be taught as being true or accurate.
