A week later Kyla found herself sitting in down town Orlando sitting behind the see through glass, watching her favorite group cut their new single.
I feel so deeply
your my first thought everyday
and I want it that way
Kyla smiled as she watched Brian finish his verse into the microphone that all five boys sang around. Again, she drew her attention back to the next singer, Nick. She stared more intently as his voice filled the room.
Is for you
And I adore you
I love you more everyday
And I want it that way
Basically, when Nick stopped singing, she stopped listening. It's not that she didn't want to hear what the rest of them sounded like live. She had been hanging out with most of them for about a few weeks now. It's just that, she seemed to find Nick more and more interesting every second she spent with him. Almost as if she was mesmorized, or hypnotized by him.
"Guys! That's a rap!" The producer yelled.
"Well, I think I speak for us all when I say that was awesome!" Kevin said as he looked at the rest of the guys.
"Yeah, great job!" Brian said.
"Well, I don't know! What do you think, Kyla? Did ya like?" Nick asked with a crazy grin.
"What kind of a question is that? Of course I liked! I loved, actually! You guys sound awesome on the cd, but in real life, your truly amazing!" She said while standing up and grabbing her hand bag.
"Nah, your just saying that!" Nick said while ruffling her hair.
"Nick! The hair, huh? Do we have to ruffle the hair!" Kyla said, and the guys just laughed.

Nick and Kyla walked out to the dock of where Nick's boat was. Nick was ready for an afternoon of fun in the sun, and waterskiing. However, Kyla was not. She had never done either. Been on a boat, or water skiid. Nick hopped on and then held out his hand to Kyla.
"Come on! Boats leaving!"
"Nick, I'm not a big boat person. Never really liked the ocean much, ya know?"
"WHAT?! Not like the ocean? Are you delusional? Are you phsycotic?" Nick said as he started up the engine.
"Nooooooo! I'm just afraid! Is that ok?"
"Afraid of what?"
"Sharks, snakes, water moccisanes, sharks!"
"Well, I don't like sharks much either, but if I let fear get in my way, I would never be able to do all of the things I've wanted to do! So, don't worry about it, ok? I promise, nothing will get you while your under MY supervision!"
Kyla didn't know why, but hearing Nick say that made her feel a tiny bit more secure then she had origionally felt. They pulled out untill they were in the middle of the ocean. Kyla listened as Nick killed the engine and then walked over to the water ski's.
"Is this is? Wow, it's beautiful out here!" Kyla said while shielding her eyes from the sun.
"I know! I usually come out here when I want to be alone. I guess I came out here alot more when my parents were still living with me. But, now I'm alone all the time." Nick said while laughing.
"Do you ever get lonley?"
"Actually, yeah! But, I've got the guys who come over. Some pretty girl by the name of Kyla keeps coming over."
"HA!" She said.
"Come on, let's get skiing." Nick said while pulling her over to the equiptment.

"You ready? I'm ready when you are ready, so you ready?" Nick asked as he took a seat back in front of the wheel.
"Uh, um, I, uh, Ooooooook!"
Nick gave her a thumbs up and a smile. Then he turned his back to her and that was all she saw. The back of his blonde head. As the boat gained speed, the rope tightened and she was forced up. The water was flying in her face and she closed her eyes. Nick looked back and saw that she was actually up and skiing. He smiled and then took a tiny turn. This turn caught Kyla off guard.
"Woah, woah, woah, woah, AHHHHHH!!!" In the water she went!
Nick turned back and saw that Kyla was submerged in the water. He ran to the end of the boat and nervously looked for Kyla to surface. But, he didn't want to wait. He jumped in with his tank and board shorts on.
"KYLA!" He yelled as he paddled around.
He went under the water and his eyes narrowed in on her. She was caught in the rope. Nick quickly swam to her and unded the rope. He grabbed her around the waist. She pointed to her mouth, indicating she had no air left. Nick nodded and his next move startled Kyla. He brought his lips to hers and forced her mouth open with his tongue. Kyla grabbed onto the back of his head and felt Nick's air fill her lungs. They both quickly swam to the surface. Nick climed on board first and then helped Kyla up.
"Are you alright? God, you scared me." Nick said as he pulled out two towels and wrapped one around Kyla.
"What you did? I mean, why? No one has ever done something like that for me." She said while Nick sat her down.
"Kyla! what was I supposed to do? Let you just sink to the bottom of the ocean? Come on! I mean, I learned that in Scuba class. I hope you didn't mind what I did. It's just, we didn't have air tanks." Nick said while running his hands through his damp hair.
"It startled me, that's all! But, you truly are a great guy, Nick! I'm sure their is some lucky girl out their just waiting to find you."
Kyla blushed after she said this. She didn't want Nick to find someone else. She wanted him to find her. But, she figured he would never want to be romantically linked to someone like her.
"Well, if she's out their and willing to put up with me, then hell, I'm all for it!" Nick said while laughing.

Nick and Kyla went back to her house later that night. Her mom and dad were both home and they left Nick and Kyla to themselves in the livingroom. So, their they sat, by themselves.
"Did you have fun today? I mean, living in Florida you probably do these kinds of things all the time, right?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, that's true. But, I think it's the people your with that make it more the wild." SHe said while crossing her legs.
"You mean me?"
"Maybe!"
"You do, don't you?"
"Maybe."
"No, see, I know you mean me! I've noticed that when you try and lie your brown eyes sort of flicker in the center."
Kyla was well aware of what her eyes did, but she was shocked Nick had payed that close attention to it. "No they don't!"
Nick laughed and then looked into her eyes, ready to prove his point. Then, it happened.
"THEIR IT IS!" He said while holding up his hands in victory.
"Ok, ok, fine! Your right, I'm wrong!" Kyla held up her hands in surrender.
