Well, here I am. Sitting at the airport once again. However, this time were heading over to New York City, Time Square. Nick and the guys are doing a preformance on Total Request.
"Hey, are you sure your going to be ok? I know you were really upset about your grandma and all." Nick said while holding my hand.
"I'll be fine. My grandma's tough. She's had two other heart attacks and she's survived them. She'll get through this one." I said while smiling.
"Your right. Your grandma is the toughest woman I know. Don't you worry your pretty little head about it, ok?"
"Sure. Now, let's go to New York." I said.
Of course, here I am. Sitting in front of Brian and AJ. God, why oh why did I pick Brian and Aj to sit in front of. You would think my own boyfriend, Nick, would protect me against their idiotic antics. But noooo, why would he help me? He's in on it!
"AJ! Stop kicking my seat!" I said.
"Sorry, it's just, my foot was asleep and it was all tingly and nasty feeling. You know how it gets when your foot falls aslep right?"
"YES! So, wake it up and let me sleep for the remainder of the flight. Your 21, i'm 17. Immaturaty is supposed to leave you when you hit 21!"
TAP TAP TAP
I turned around to see who just tapped my shoulder. YOu know the old trick. They tap your shoulder on one side, you turn to the opposite side and then the guilty one whistles all innocently.
"BRIAN!"
"Wh-what?" He said while looking around frantically.
"STOP!"
I turned around and tried to enjoy the movie that was playing. It was "At First Site" I was getting really into when all of a sudden.....
TAP TAP TAP!
"BRIAN!"
I yelled again. He looked at me innocently again. And gave me the "What?" Look.
"You know what!" I said.
"It wasn't me....look over next to you."
I turn my head and look at a sleeping Nick. With a sly grin on his face. I smiled and then smacked him upside the head. He woke up and grabbed me in head lock. He tickled me as AJ and Brian had the look of satisfaction on their faces.

Once we arrived in New York City, we all checked in at the Ritz hotel. I didn't have many bags with me, just one suitcase and a carry on. We were only going to be away for a few days.
"Tia? Is it ok if we share a room? I don't want to pressure you into that if you don't want!" Nick said while opening the door to the large, spacious room.
"Nick, it's fine! I mean, I know your not going to try and pull anything. And if you did. Just remember, I've been taking Taibou! I could kick your butt in one second. You know that right?" I said while smiling innocently.
He laughed and then tickled me around my sides. "Oh...my girlfirned is fiesty, huh?"
"You know it!"

"Nick? Can you pass me the Mountain Dew?" I asked.
He broke away a can of mountain dew from the six pack and then joined me on the bed. We ordered a movie through pay-perview. We were watching "She's All That."
"God, I don't know why I cry over these things. I mean, it's just a movie. But, why am I crying. And it's not even like a drama, either. It's a happy movie and I'm crying." I said while whiping the tears away from my eyes.
Nick placed his arm around me and pulled me towards him. "Tia, I think that is so cute. I love when you get emotional' over movies. I mean, I don't like to see you cry. But, when you cry over movies it just gives me the opportunity to comfort you like this." He said while kissing me on the lips softly.
"Oh, I like that! Maybe we should rent those real tear-jerkers more often!" I said.
Nick and I were interupted by the phone rining. He reached over and picked it up. He was careful not to say "Nick Carter, speaking." Just in case it was a fan that got the room number.
"Hello?" Nick said.
"Nick!" Nick immediatly recognized the voice.
"Hi, Mrs. McFarley!" I looked over at Nick and smiled.
"Hi, honey! Listen! Is Tia there? I have some...bad news." Nick knew something was wrong because Mrs. McFarley broke down on the phone.
"She's right here! Would you like to talk to her? Are you ok?" Nick asked with concern.
"I don't want to break down while talking to her. Can you just tell her....I'm at Tampa General right now." She started telling Nick.
Nick put two and two together. Tampa General is a hospital. And Tia's grandma is in the hospital, meaning this phone call could not be something good.
"Oh...no.." Nick said quietly.
"It's Tia's grandma...she...she died. I think it would be best if Tia came home for a few days. Just for the funeral and all. Tell her I'm sorry I couldn't tell her...I don't want her to hear me cry."
I watched Nick's eyes change instantly. They were filled with sorrow and saddness and I knew why. My eyes began to tear over.
"Ok, I'll come home with her." Nick said.
"Ok, hon! Thank you."
Nick hung up the phone and stared at the ground first, then over at me. I almost hated him for not just coming out and telling me right here and now. But, obviously he didn't know what to say. He grabbed my hand and I pulled it away. Not in anger, more in confusion.
"Tia...." Nick said softly. His voice full of concern and love.
I shook my head and ran out of the hotel room. Knocking Brian over as I ran. We both fell to the floor and he reached down to help me up. Noticing my tears he also grew concerned.
"Tia! Girl, what's wrong?" Brian was a great guy. Almost like my brother.
I shook my head unable to speak. It was just like the tears were doing all the talking for me. Thankfully I didn't have to say much. Nick found me and quickly pulled Brian over to the side.
"Oh man....your kidding!"
"No, her mom just called."
"She's gonna go home then, right?"
"Yeah....and Brian...I've been thinking. I'm....going to go with her." Nick said.
"Of course! Nick, don't worry about anything. If Carson ask were you are, we'll just say you had a personal crisis."
"Thanks man! I'm gonna help Tia pack. Tell the guys I'm really sorry, ok?" Nick said.
"Nick, no need to be sorry! Your doing the right thing. Tia's your girl, she needs you. This is a very responsible thing your doing."
Nick smiled and bent down to me. He grabbed my hand and helped me up. I let him. I felt his arm around my shoulder and I just rested my head against his shoulder. I couldn't believe it. My grandma....the other woman who helped raise me...is dead.
