A few days later………..when the girls were talking to Nick, Brian and AJ again.
"Hey, are we leaving now or are we going to stay here all night?" Nick yelled. This time they were all over at Tabitha’s house.
"We’re coming!" Tabitha ran down the stairs. Nick’s eyes almost popped out of his head. Brian saw the look and laughed. He continued to laugh until Meg came down the stair in the same fashion that Tabitha did. His jaw dropped.
Meg was wearing a midnight blue dress that came up to about her knee. It was sleeveless but she was wearing a top of the exact same color with the second button buttoned. She was wearing black 2 inch platforms and her hair was French braided, courtesy of Tabitha.
Tabitha was wearing a sea-foam green dress that came to about half way down to her knees. It was sleeveless and had a high neck. She was wearing her platforms and her was pulled back with a butterfly clip.
Jess was wearing a black dress that like Tabitha’s was short and had a high neck. She was wearing her platforms, and her hair was up in sticks. But she was already down stairs when the other two came down. All three of the girls were carrying hand bags.
"OK, Brian pick your jaw up off the floor and Nick stick your eyes back in the sockets. We have places to go, people to see, and in my case, guys to flirt with!" Jess exclaimed, snapping the two guys out their trance.
"You girls take longer the Howie does." Kevin said jokingly.
"Oh you be quiet! We aren’t doing anything. Plus, I’ve had to be in a back
seat with you and a guy while you were making out! Talk about uncomfortable."
Tabitha said leaning over Nick, who was in the middle but not really in the
middle, he was more like sitting in Tabitha’s lap (ouch!). Tabitha pinched
Jessica’s leg.
"Ouch!"
"OK kids, quiet down back there." Brian said in a fatherly voice.
"Yes Daddy!" Tabitha said in mock enthusiasm. Nick laughed.
"Nickolas, Listen to your father!" Meg said laughing.
" Wait, that would make you our mother! Aww isn’t that cute!" Nick said.
"Hey, Bri! Nothing much! What can I do for ya?" The big guy guarding the
front entrance asked.
"Well, you see, I have this friend here. This is Meg. We need to get in."
The guy that seemed to answer to the name Jay nodded. "I see. Well, that’s
no problem. In you go!" He stepped aside and let then walk past. They
caught some evil glares from people waiting in line. And when the girls that
were waiting in line realised who it was, the glares directed at Meg grew
eviler. Before the two were all the way in the club, Jay called after Brian.
"Hey Bri! Are the rest of the guys here too?"
"Yeah! We need to get two other girls in. One is with Kaos and the other I
think is going to come in with Train. Bone and D have either no girl or
clearance."
"OK! See ya later!" He turned back to the people waiting in line to get in to
the club.
"See? That wasn’t hard." Meg nodded looking around.
Out side pretty much the same thing happened with Nick and Tabitha, only Jay
recognised Tabs from the video, which they still hadn’t seen but was playing
on MTV like nobody’s business.
Once everyone was inside AJ and Amanda were tearin up the dance floor, Jess
was on flirt mode, Howie and Kevin were on the look out for girls to dance
with, Nick Tabitha, Brian and Meg all sat at the table and ordered drinks.
Once they got the drinks, they started talking.
A few minutes later a slow song came on and Brian asked Meg to dance. Of
course she said yes and off they went. "Hey, Tabs-" Before he finished
asking her to dance a guy about his height came over and asked her to dance.
She looked at Nick, who looked a little disappointed, remember what he had
done to her and the other girls and accepted the offer from the guy that had
come over.
He lead her out to the dance floor and placed his hands on her waist ‘If he
goes any farther south, he’s going to be sorry.’ She thought as she loosely
draped her arms around his neck. They started dancing and talked the whole
time.
"Aren’t you the girl from that music video? ‘I Need You Tonight’ or something
like that."
"Yeah, that’s me. And the guy that I was sitting next to and who is at the
moment…." She looked over at the table but Nick wasn’t there. "…..Isn’t where
I left him. Well, anyway, he’s the guy from the video, you know the one
singing."
"What did you say about Nick, Tabs?" Brian asked, leading Meg over to them.
"Well, I seemed to have miss placed him." Tabitha said with a laugh.
"Oh, he’s over there." Brian pointed in the direction opposite the direction
that Tabitha was facing. Sure enough there was Nick, dancing with a tall
blond girl in a REALLY short skirt.
‘He looks like he’s having fun." She said turning back to her partner.
"Oh yeah, tons." When the song was over she thanked the guy that she had
danced with (she never asked his name) and walked over to the table. She was
the only one there. She sat down and took a drink of her diet Coke. She
looked across the dance floor.
AJ and Amanda were having fun dancing as close as humanly possible. Jess had
found a drool worthy guy and was tearing it up. Both Howie and Kevin had
found girls to dance with, while Meg and Brian were still dancing up a storm.
Then she spotted Nick. He was still dancing with that blond. She pushed the
thought out of her head.
The next few dances she was asked to dance she turned down. She didn’t want
to get any closer to Nick when he was being stupid and full of him self. Just
her luck, the second the guy that had come to ask her too dance leaves, Nick
walks over with the Baywatch Babe. "Hey Tabs! This is ………. Um……this is………"
"Star." She supplied.
"Yeah, this is Star. This is Tabitha. We came over because were needed a
rest."
"OK." She was not interested. Just then Megan and Brian walk over to the
table and sit down. "Hey Meg, Bri."
"Hey girl! Why aren’t you out there dancing?’ Meg asked, worried about her
friend.
"I don’t know."
"’Well, it looks like Jess found a guy." Meg said pointing to their friend
walking towards the table with a male behind her.
"Yup! And Kev and D have found some girls too." Brian said smiling at the
guys.
"And AJ, well, he’s got Amanda. Round and round and round they go, where they
stop nobody knows." Tabitha said with a smile.
"So it looks like your the only one with out a partner, seeing as Nick made a
new friend." Brian said, throwing a meaningful glance at Nick.
"’Don’t remind me." Tabitha mumbled. "Anyway. This is just not my kind of
place."
"Yeah I know what you mean. We could go to another club. I don’t really
like this one either." Meg said.
"Yeah I agree. Lets gather the others. Tell them they can bring there friends
and lets go to the Fun House. It’s only a short walk away." Brian said.
"OK." Nick agreed, starting to get up.
Ten minutes later they were standing out side the Fun House.
"You girls go in. You wont have any trouble getting in." Brian said.
The girls agreed and the six of them (Howie’s new friend, Julie and Kevin’s
new friend Veronica, came too) went inside and found a table.
Out side with the guys……..
"What kind of CRAP are you trying to pull!" Brian exclaimed. Nick was
clueless.
"What do you mean?"
"She dances with one other guy and you automatically pick up the first bimbo
you see?"
"What?"
"I think what Brian is trying to say here, "Kevin started. "Is that you are a
dumb ass. You didn’t ask her to dance and someone else does. She accepts.
You don’t go and find the shortest skirt you can and spend the whole night
with her. DAMN IT NICK! After that first dance she turned every guy that
asked her down."
"She did? Why would she do that?"
"AHHHHHHH!" Never mind! Lets just go inside." AJ said and walked in the
door. The others followed. When they got inside they soon found the girls
sitting at a table right next to the dance floor. The guys all sat down.
"Ill be right back." Tabitha said as soon ass Nick sat down next to her. It
wasn’t that she didn’t want to sot next to him (OK maybe it was a little
because of that0 but she had a plan to put into action.
While the guys had been outside the girls had been planning a little show.
Tabitha got up and walked over to the DJ stand. One by one the all the
girls (except for Veronica, she volunteered to sit out) got up and walked over
to the dance floor.
Tabitha finished talking to the DJ and filling him in on their plan. She
handed him the CD (which she had grabbed when they stopped by the cars before
going to the second club) and walked out onto the dance floor.

Backstreet’s back alright!" The speakers blared. The girls started doing the
‘Everybody’ dance. The guys were surprised.
Halfway through the song the music changed to " All I Have To Give’ and the
girls each went up and grabbed a guy. Well, Veronica grabbed Kevin, Jess
grabbed a guy off the dance floor, Julie grabbed Howie, Amanda grabbed AJ, Meg
got a hold of Brian and that left Tabitha and Nick. Tabitha pulled Nick out
of his seat and onto the floor. He pulled her close to him and she rested her
head on his shoulder.
"But my love is all I have to give, without you I don’t think I can live, I

sang in her ear.
Suddenly the music changed to ‘I Wanna Be With You’ This time the guys joined
in the dancing. They really worked the floor. Everyone in the club was
watching the 12 of them.
When that song was over, the DJ put in one last song. ‘I’ll Never Break Your

Every broke off into their partners and danced, but this time Jess and Kevin
danced together seeing as Veronica took a liking to the guy that Jess had been
dancing with.

All the guys sang. By this time other couples had ventured out onto the floor
and danced to the singing BSB.
When the song was over all the guys and girls walked back to the table, with
the exception of Nick and Tabitha, who were in their own little world, still
dancing to music only they could hear.
"Tabs?" Nick looked down at her. She was so cute. She had her head rested
on his shoulder and her eyes closed.
"Yeah, Nick?"
"Look at me." She lifted her head and looked into his ocean blue eyes. He
leaned down to her and………
