"Ouch!!!!" Tabitha sceeched.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to. But if I don't, it will get infected. And I don't want that to happen."
"Yeah, sure, just get it over with!!!!" She let Nick continue to put the disinfectent, clenching her teeth the whole time. Nick tried hard not the laugh at the look on her face, but she was just too cute. "You think this is funny Carter?"
"No, not at all! It's just that the look on your face. It was just too cute!"
"Yeah, well I'll give you something cute." She mummbled "Are you done with that yet?"
"Yeah I'm done, but you shouldn't walk on it."
"So I get to spend a lot of time in here is what you're saying?"
"NO! You think I'm going to leave you in here? I carried you in here. I think I can manage to carry you out." He bent down and lifted her up. "Where to?"
"Let's just go into the TV room downstairs." He nodded and started walking down the hall and down the stairs. When Tabitha had directed him to the TV room, Nick sat down, sit holding her. She tried to get up, but he wouldn't let her. She looked at him. He was grinning. "Nick?"
"Tabs, about what Kelly said...... I just wanted to..." He leaned towards her and just as their lips were about to meet........
Brian walks in the room. "Opps!! I think I'll be leaving!"
"Oh, no you don't, Brian. Get your butt back in here!" Tabitha called after him. Nick sat her down next to him on the couch. Brian came back in the room and sat down next to her. Nick looked across Tabitha, at his friend.
"Brian, if you say anything about this to anyone, I'm going to have to kill you."
"Especially if that person is Meg or Jess."
"Why and how would I tell them?"
"They are coming down here in a few weeks. Meg's dad is coming on buisness and she wanted to bring Jess along since she knew that I was going to be down here."
"Oh. well, you better not tell AJ about it or he will bother you non stop about Jess."
"But he's going out with AMANDA!" Nick exclaimed.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. But you know Bone."
"Yeah, I know Bone."
"ANYWAY!" Tabitha said, trying to get back to the problem at hand. "Brian if you tell anyone about this, I will help Nick kill you. Is that under stood?"
"Yes mother."
"Oh shut up!" She playfully hit him in the arm. "Now are any of the others here?"
"Nope, just little old me. They wanted someone to come and check on you and everyone looked at me so I took it upon my self to make sure the two of you didn't do anything either one of you might regret." He finished with a smirk.
"BRAIN!!!!" Both Nick and Tabitha tackled him, eventually leaving them all in a heap on the floor, laughing so hard that they could barely breathe. That’s how the other’s found them.
"Hey! Um what happened here?" Lynn asked, assesing the situation."
"Well, I went to look for these two. When I got here the door was open so I walked in. I come in here and Tabs and Nick are about ready to ki-" He was cut off by Tabitha slapping her hand over his mouth. She shot him a look. He licked her hand. She didn’t move it.
"You’ve forgotten, Mr. Littrell, I have a little sister. Don’t think that licking my hand is going to get me to move it." When she made the comment about him licking her hand, everyone else in the rooms response:
"Ewwww! That’s gross!" Kelly just giggled. Brian thought for a minute. Then he bit her hand.
"Ouch! Brian Thomas Littrell! You are going to get it!" Completely forgetting about her foot she attempted to get up off of Nick, who had somehow ended up on the bottom of the pileup. Nick got up. Brian had ran.
As soon as she tried to go after Brian, she forgot the whole reason that she was going to go after him. She feel back and Nick caught her. She was out.

When Tabitha woke up she was confused, not that anyone could blame her. She stirred.
"Tabs?" a male voice said from behind her. She turned over to see Nick sitting in her chair, with a worried look.
"Hey Nick. What happened?"
"Well, Brian was about ready to tell about what almost happened, and you threatened him. He got up and ran. You got up and tried to go after him, forgetting about your foot. You fell, I caught you, but you were out. I brought you up here."
"And he’s been up here ever since." A third voice came from the door way. It was Brian. "Listen Tabs, I’m sorry. I forgot about your foot."
"It’s OK, Bri. I forgot about it too. I’m OK, really." She looked at the two guys. They both still looked worried. "Guys, is there something wrong?"
"No, not at all. I’m going to leave the two of you alone. I just came up to check on Nick, and I heard voices. By the way. I think I’m going to send Kelly up. You should have heard her scream when you went out. She was really upset. I’ll bring her up. She thought you were dying."
"Oh my! Yeah, bring her up. I hope she’s going to be alright. After what happened to Dad, I think she’s scared that the same thing is going to happen to me. I’ll explain later, can you go get her?"
"Yeah, I’ll be right back."
"Thanks Bri." Brian nodded and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. She turned to Nick. "Have you really been up here since I passed out?"
"Well, yeah. You know, with the exception of when nature calls." Nick said with a smile.
"I’m glad that you were wise enough to leave on that occasion. She how long have I been out?"
"Almost 24 hours."
"WHAT?" Tabitha was scared. "I was passed out for almost 24 hours and no one thought to take me to a hospital?"
"I’m sorry Tabs. I didn’t want them to take you to the hospital. I didn’t want you to wake up in a strange place, with strange people all hovering around you."
"Nick come here." Tabitha said softly. Nick obeyed (Good doggy, hehehehe) and sat down next to her on the bed.
Tabitha reached over and hugged him. At first her was surprised, but he soon relaxed and hugged her back, not wanting to let go. "Nick?" Tabitha asked, muffled in his embrace.
"Yeah, Tabs?"
"Is there something wrong with me that I don’t know about?" She pulled away a little. Nick looked her in the eye and knew she was scared.
"No! Nothing is wrong with you. You’ree perfectly healthy. Why, should there be something wrong?"
"No. It’s just the look that Brian had on his face when I said that I was OK. You had the same look. It kinda scared me, that’s all."
"Brian feels bad about this whole thing. I feel bad for Brian because he thinks that this whole thing is his fault."
"But it isn’t! It isn’t his fault! I was the one that was being stupid!"
"Yeah, I know. But he just needs to let that sink in."
"OK." Just then Brian came in with Kelly.
"Tabby! You Otay! Nicky, Tabby otay!"
"Yeah Kel. Your sister is going to be just fine." Brian slipped out of the room and Tabitha made a mental note to talk to him later.
