"Madison! That outfit looks awesome on you! I think that is a 'must have'." she said while nodding her head yes.
"You think so? It's not to showy?" Madison asked.
"Showy? Honey! Have you looked in a mirror? With your curves, your long legs, that face, uh! Nothing can be too showy!" LeighAnne said while laughing.
Madison smiled and then looked in the mirror. She shrugged her shoulders and walked back into the dressingroom. Fifteen minutes later, twelve different outfits, Madison was done.
"So, how did you make out?" Nick asked while chewing on a pretzel that he bought at Pretzel Time.
"Good...I just worry about being to showy!" Madison said while laughing.
"Always remember, nothing is too showy!" Brian laughed as his fashion concious girlfriend gave out advice.
"Nick! Maybe you should go and by a speedo!" Brian said while joking.
"No, Brian! That's too showy!" Nick said while crinkling up his nose and squealing like a girl.
"MEN!" Madison and LeighAnne said at the same time.

Brian and LeighAnne dropped Madison and Nick off before they headed home. Nick helped Madison with her five bags and she held the door for him.
"Why did you drop the bags?" Madison asked.
"Well, aren't you gonna show me what took you hours upon hours to try on?" Nick asked.
"Ummm.....no!" She said.
"Why not?" He said while pouting.
"I'm sure you'll see them sooner or later!" She said while smiling.
"Yeah! Yeah!" He waved his hands at her and she laughed at him.
Later that evening their was a knock at the door and Nick left the large livingroom to answer it. It was a police officer with a box of Madison's belonging's.
"Thank you, officer!" Nick said as he brought the box into the livingroom.
"Who was that?" She asked as she uncrossed her legs and stood up.
"The police officer's managed to gather your stuff from the car! Here, open it!" He said while smiling.
Nick figured that it would be good for Madison to have her own belongings and have some memory's of her mother. She nervously kneeled next to the box and stripped away the tape. Nick also kneeled next to the box. He watched Madison's face as she looked up at him.
"Go on...come on! I wanna see!" He said while helping unfold the flaps.
"I'm scared." She said truthfully.
"What about? It's just your stuff. It'll help, I'm sure of it!" Nick said.
"Alright." She slowly began taking out the contents of the box.
Nick silently watched as she placed framed pictures of her mother and of her onto the floor. She let a few tears fall as she lifted her teddy bear out of the box and it was torn and burned. She got towards the end of the box and their was a tiny box. She picked it up and wondered what it is.
"What is this?" She asked Nick.
"I don't know. Open it! Go ahead...it's alright."
She took the top off of the tiny box and removed the tissue paper from the box. At the bottom of the tiny box was her mother's wedding ring.
"Oh god!" She dropped the box and ran up to her bedroom crying.
Nick picked up the box and the ring that had fallen to his feet. He held the ring in his hand and ran after Madison.

When he reached her bedroom, he heard her crying. His heart ached as she cried. He realized this had to have been a very tough and difficult thing to do. He looked at the wedding ring and admired the diamond. He softly knocked on the door and opened it softly.
"Nick? I'm sorry. I left a mess down stairs. I'll go clean it." She said while whiping her eyes with the back of her hand.
Nick shook his head and gently took hold of her wrists. he led her back to the bed and sat her down.
"Madi, don't worry about it! Come on, please talk to me. What happened to get you so upset. Is it the ring?"
Nick held up the ring and she cried even harder. Nick realized that pain was the hardest emotion to ever have to go through.
"Yes...I...my mom wanted to give it to me for my wedding...but now...I can't wear it..I don't even want to...look at it..please get rid of it." She pleaded with Nick.
"No...Madi! You say that now. But, in a few years, you'll want the ring. I don't want to get rid of it! Please, keep it." Nick said.
"Nick, PLEASE! Just get rid of the ring!" She cried harder.
"Madi..-" He was cut off.
"Nick, PLEASE!" She repeated.
He backed off and nodded sadly. "Ok, I'll...get...rid of the...ring. Are you going to be ok in here alone?" He asked worriedly.
"Yes..I'll be fine. And Nick?" She said while he was about to walk out the door.
"Yeah..." He said sweetly.
"Thank you for being a friend." Nick smiled and blew her a kiss. She smiled and then layed down on her bed.
