Madison had been walking. Only, not getting very far. Her legs were making her tired and it was one of those foggy nights in Orlando. She walked untill she tripped on a tree root and went tumbling down a rocky hill.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" She screamed and cried.

As she reached the bottom of the hill she lay still in the gutter of the street. She lay, not moving, not making a sound.

"Guys, I'm gonna give up in about 5 minutes!" Nick said frustrated.

"No! Nick, if you give up, you won't find the girl you possibly love! You'll be a failure." Brian said.

Brian's words stung Nick hard. He didn't want to consider himself a failure and he did love Madison.

"Your right!" Nick said agreeingly.

They drove for another few minutes and now Kevin's car was close behind theirs. None of them had any luck. But, Nick was leaning against the window and something caught his eye. A GAP bag lay in the middle of the road.

Brian! Leiganne! STOP!" Nick yelled.

He was about to open the car door without the car coming to a complete stop. He quickly got out of the car, as did the other's. He picked up the bag and looked around.

"This is Madi's! All of her stuff is in it! I know this is her's. This is her teddy bear!" Nick said as he smelled it. When he smelled the bear, he remembered the smell of Madison's hair. HE actually remembered a conversation he had with her about her hair.

Nick and Madison were down on the ground. Nick was tormenting her by tickling her. One of Madison's major weaknesses. She whipped around and her hair slapped him in the face.

"OUCH!"

"Oops, sorry! That'll teach you.!" She said.

"WEll, check the floor. I think I might have lost an eye!" He said sarcastically.

"Their's no eye on the floor, Nick! Your fine. It's just my hair that hit you. Not anything else. Like, per say a fist!"

"Atually, your hair smells really nice." She smiled.

"Well, thank to those AVEDA products Leighanne bought for me!" She said.

"Aveda!" Nick said outloud as he snapped out of his trance.

"Nick, what is it?" Kevin asked.

"It's her bag! Really! All of her clothes are in here! Kevin, she has to be near here. Or, I hope she is." Nick said.

"Ok, everyone, search!" Brian yelled.

Nick sperated himself from the guys at least a good distance. He was slowly walking along the gutter of the street. He looked down at his feet and watched them for a while. Then, he saw something. He saw hair. In the gutter! Someone's hair! He picked up his pace untill he was running.

"Oh my god! Madison!" Nick yelled.

He bent down next to Madison's shoulders. Her head was turned and she was breathing. Nick shook her gently. He was scared.

"Madi! Madi, it's Nick. Come, on! Please! Stop, your scaring me. Talk to me!" He yelled.

Madison gathered all her strength and started to talk. She gently turned her head, but tried to keep the rest of her body in the position it was in. She was in pain.

"Nick.....I....I din't mean...to leave! I...h-had to. Please...don't be mad...at me. Please....don't be mad." She said as tears began to come from her eyes.

Nick held her hand and by this time, the rest of the guys had joined him. Only thing is, Madison was beginning to want to close her eyes.

"NO! Madison, stay awake!" Howie said.

She layed quiet. Her eyes were getting heavier and heavier. If she was to fall asleep, she might never wake up. At least for a while.

"Come on, Madi! Hon, don't fall asleep." Brian said.

Nick picked her up gently. Their was no time to call for an ambulance. They had to get her to the Hospital. Nick layed her in the backseat and her head was in his lap as Brian drove and Kevin's car followed.

"God, what have I done!" Nick said quietly as he stroked her hair.

"I'm sorry!" She said. Barely audible.

Nick wanted to cry. It was obvious she was in a lot of pain. Brian was doing his best to get to the hospital and Leighanne was making sure he wasn't going to kill them all by speeding.

Nick carried Madison in threw the doors of the ER. He nervously looked around for a doctor.

"HEY! WE NEED A DOCTOR!" LeighAnne yelled.

A doctor came running and bing, bang, boom, Madison was put into a stretcher. Before she was wheeled off, their were questions that needed to be answered.

"We tried to keep her awake. Can you give her something to make her stay awake. We don't want her to go into a coma." Brian said.

"Well, if she wants to fight to stay awake, she will. If she doesn't, she'll close her eyes and wake up when the time is right." The doctor said as nicely as possible.

Nick watched Madison the whole time. She mouthed words to Nick that he couldn't read. It was either "I'm sorry" Or "Love you" He couldn't make it out. However, he did catch her eyes closing.

"NOOOOO!!" Nick clenched his fists and the doctors wheeled her off quickly.
