AMERICAN FLAG BANNED in Baltimore , Md

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I saw this post and thought everyone should see this story of the US flag beinging BANNED in America ! I still can't believe it but it happen in Baltimore , Maryland at the US/Cuban baseball game! Whats next?

" As some of you know, I went to protest the the banning of the US flag in and around Camden Yards stadium during the Oriole/Cuban game. This game was in Baltimore, the place where the 'Star Spangled Banner' was written during the war of 1812. And this became the place where that flag was prohibited last monday at the behest of some guy who ownes a big multi million dollar corporation known as the Baltimore Orioles. I have also come to find out that this owner, a one Peter Angelos, is all buddy-buddy with our lord and master, Klinton. And is a close friend of none other than the one and only inventor of the internet, Mr 'happy-go-lucky' himself, Algore.

Well, here's what happened. No, I was not tossed into the klink. 3x5 flag inverted and all. Didn't matter.

Word got around town fast. Thanks in no small part to a radio station (WCBM) that was the first, and for a while, the only media outlet to run the story. The police are not stupid; they may be ignorant, self rightious, power-hungry, ego maniacal thugs, but they ain't stupid. They were able to see the writing on the wall here. It was a game that would, and did, attract news cameras like 'you know what' attracts flies. They got wise at the eleventh hour. But all things were not right with the world, let me tell you.

The amount of police in the area, including the federal mob, was freeky. Man, the things you see when you're out without your gun! First off, there were loads of people there, and lots, but not many flags. my cousin watched it on the local news, and saw NO flags. Hmmmm?,,, Can't see how. but any way, back to the point. The feds, that's right, feds (I assume them to have been INS, FBI?) Moved through the crowd asking the damdest things to people, like if they were staying in the Sheraton Hotel (where the Cubans were). Were they, themselves, of any Cuban desent, and if they belonged to any sort of Cuban/American groups, and if they were planning to aid in any posable defections.

Can you believe that?

Well, I was asked a question or two by one of these suited goons, and and let him know stright off that I was an American, and what ever group I belong to was none of his damned buisness, and that by intimidating the people who assembled there, he was coming dangerously close to violating at least 3 of the 10 amendments. He didni't sayanything else to me at that point, but moved on. And that, my fellow patriots is where I started to feel uneasy. Uneasy, because I watched people whom were standing right next to me just spill their colective guts. Answering what ever questions anyone with even the slightest look of athority put to them. I turned to one fellow, and asked why he even opened his mouth to respond. All he could say was he didn't want to start any trouble. ?????????????????????????????? Excuse me, but arn't you at a protest alredy?!

It was then that conversations sprang up about why I was there. It seemed that few, if anyone, knew, or cared about the whole 1st amendment issue. All they were there for was to protest any economic involvment with Cuba. A cause that I could give a rat's *** about, myself. In fact, out of the people that were thare whom I talked to, those whome were there for the same reason as I, or even cared, could have fit comfortably in the bed of an average pick-up. The police were not about to arest anyone without REAL reason, not with all of the cameras on them. so as it torned out, the whole 1st amendment issue became a non-issue. There was still an FAA ban on flight over that part of the city, so as to prevent banner-planes from towing antiCastro banners, and there were still no flags allowed in the park. But the 'public' display (even though the stadium is public property) was not enforced. At least not that I saw. This was all to simple, the Baltimore Nazis,,oh, I ment 'police' were a weapon of public intimidation. As were all the other, so called, 'law' enforcement there.

Now here is where I get sick. As if this whole thing wasn't making me sick enough.

We my two friends and I, started plan 'B' which we formulated in the event of NOT being arrested.

I had bought a big box of 12' flags on sticks, and several boxes of flag stickers, which one could ware on one's clothing, etc. and let me say, it wasn't cheep. We started handing them out. Well, this is when it happened.

Are all of you sitting down?......OK. Good.

I COULDN'T GIVE FLAGS AWAY THERE!!!!!!!!!

No, not because of a prohibition, but because just about everyone on the street refused to take one! This is not bull ****, this was for real! the sheep on their way into the stadium were, almost without exception, afraid to except the GIFT of a small American flag or even a sticker!

These people were to afraid of being ejected from the park, and or locked up because of it. Listen, brothers, the interactions went something like this:

Me: 'Here's a flag for you sir.'

The sheep: 'No thank you.'

Me: 'Miss, would like a free flag?'

The sheep: 'No.'

Me: 'Show your support for America's team, sir, take a flag.'

The sheep: 'Oh no. They said we weren't allowed to have them in there.'

I was shocked. Didn't know if I were powder burnt, gut-shot, or snake bit. Then It hit me. It came on me all at once, as I walked back to the place My friends and I were to meet. I gave out some flags, but as I walked, I found a few on the ground. Just tossed away. I was nearly in tears, but not because of the flags I was picking up off of the street, but because of the fact that the sheep could care less. And my friends, we are ALL part of that flock of sheep. My friends had a bit better luck at their distrobution of flags than I, butnot much better. We were all sort of overcome wit a grief that showed itself through our silence. The people that were there were protetsing an exchange of ball players, and that is about it. No one really cared. And the look of actual fear on the faces of some of these people to whom I offered a flag struck me harder still.

In that stadium were a bunch of men from an Island that is a prison, and a communist hell hole. They are not allowed to travel freely, if at all. They are not allowed to speek out against their government without the risk of death or prison. They are not allowed to even feel free, or think subversive thoughts. I have been to Florida, and seen for myself the remains of what these people will risk their life in just to escape their suffering. And there I stood on the street in a city in the United States of America, and watched people almost cringe away from their flag in favor of a mindless baseball game. The only way we, as Americans, are disallowed from doing something is if WE invite the prohibition, or just do nothing. We have permitted the distruction of our republic. Permitted it, and gloried in it. Liberty is something that most all of the people on this whole planet will never even get a taste of. Yet, we use it as a curancy to pay for what we assume to be safty. we are no longer conserned as a people with freedom 'TO..' but freedom 'FROM'.

I had a hard time giving away any more flags even farther away from the stadium as my friends and I left before the start of the game. Had I only thought then to have had the video on me as I was attempting to hand out the flags.

At dinner in a pub later that evening, I sat by myself and listened to the talking of other people. I listened to the news on the TV (a new thing for me, as I don't have one). I thought long and hard and came to believe that the American people today do not deserve the liberty that was passed down to them. We are truly a nation of cowards. We want not what the founders desired to give us; rather, we want what Cuba has. we seem to, as a people, need others to tell us everything is OK, and what is good and bad, and who our enemies are, and how oue lives should be lived. The Americans want to be as safe and cared for as cdondemed prisoners. all doing our part for the society as a whole. Just like those adorable little mindless insects. No, the fag is not ours any longer, love it if you will, but it has been stolen, or at leasted handed over to those who hate freedom, and they have made it their own. It is a stained and soiled cloth, that bares no resembelance, in my eye, to the one I use to admire as a child. This flag is the flag of a ****ry full of fools. People who live their lives through TV and sports designed lull them to sleep. They think that the police are ther to protect them, the schools work for the education of children, government really dose know best, the TV news is Heaven's own truth, and even God pays his taxes. Well, I tell you all what, **** that! I want no part of that. This is not the America designed in 1787, and 1791. This place bares more resemblence to Nazi Germany to me, and I will have no part of it. The hell with them. Their ******* Government and the flag that is THEIR property, not ours. And they can ban it when and where they want. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the Constitution is dead!!! Wake up, people.

So let them (the Americans) have their flag, I no longer count myself among that number, as I stand for liberty, and liberty only. let them have their flag and let them have their beloved king. I feel that there is no hope for the peaceful restoration of our republic, and I wish not to be mistaken as one of sheep, nor even the dogs that herd them. So let them ban their flag. Let them protect it now like pagan idol, and curse it when it suits their need. It is their adopted and perverted symbol I can only morn its loss as I do the loss of the republic.

So that is about it. Sorry for the rant. But looking at the people in that city opened my eyes to the culture at large, and hope was rested from me. I will have much more to say on this later, but for now I'm just going back to bed, then spend a few more days in the woods. Sorry for not reporting back as I should have, but I needed to lick my mental wounds. God save you all. "
