What a free Nicaraguan can do in order to tie down the Marxist tyranny
All Nicaraguans who love their country and cherish liberty--men, women, young and old people, farmers and workers alike-- surely ask themselves what they can do with the means at their disposal, in order to participate in the final battle against the usurpers of the authentic sandinista revolution for which the people of Nicaragua have fought and shed their blood for so many years. Some might think that today's armed struggle requires military supplies and economic resources only available to states or terrorist bands armed by Moscow. There is an essential economic infrastructure that any government needs to function, which can easily be disabled and even paralyzed without the use of armaments or costly and advanced equipment, with the small investment of resources and time.
The following pages present a series of useful sabotage techniques, the majority of which can be done with simple household tools such as scissors, empty bottles, screwdrivers, matches, etc. These measures are extremely safe and without fork for those who use them, as they do not require equipment or specialized activities that can draw attention to the doer.
One combatant can perform many of them, without having to turn to collaborators or having to make a detailed plan beforehand. These are acts that can be done practically in an improvised way every time an occasion presents itself.
Our sacred cause needs to have more men and women join its ranks in order to perform these sabotage tasks. However, necessary caution should be taken, and only when the task requires it, should another person or persons participate in or have knowledge of a given act. As mentioned above, the techniques found in this manual correspond to the state of individual sabotage, or at the most, cellular--with cells of no more than two individuals--of clandestine struggle.

40. use an ice pick or similar tool to punch radiators and gas tanks, and tires.

47. twist a steel bar into a u shape with the top ends folded down to make half a grappling hook. wire two such rods together to make a grappling hook. Tie on a rope, plastic ONLY!, Throw it onto telephone lines or other lines and pull the wires down.
49. Shoot an arrow with fly rod reel fishing line or cast a fly rod weight over high voltage lines, and use the line to pull up a larger plastic rope, and use that to pull a chain or cable over the lines to short them out.
50. Cut stiff sheet metal into triangles and sharpen the points and place under tires so when the vehicle rolls they will be jammed into the tire to cut it.

52. Place an unlighted cigarette between two rows of matches in a match book, and tie the matches so it stays there. Wrap the matches in dry flammable material. Place the device between empty wooden or carton boxes. Light the cigarette at the free end. The matches will light in 5 to 10 minutes.
53. Fill a narrow necked bottle with gasoline, kerosene or diesel. Its better if shredded soap or sawdust is added. Insert a rag in the bottle until one end touches the liquid and the other extends no more than 20 cm from the rim of the bottle. Seal the bottle tightly with string or tape.
To activate the device:
A. Hold the bottle in one hand with your arm extended.
