NC LAQUER

NC laquer is a Nitrocellouse based laquer that is used to bind Bp and other chemicals together. The best NC laquer can be made with sokeless gunpowder, but I can't get smokeless gunpowder so I had to find another way..... While reading rec.pyro oone day I saw people talking about NC laquer made from ping pong balls. This was my cue, I rushed out to Wal-mart to buy my Acetone and ping pong balls. It took a few tyes to get the ratios right, but I figured it out soon enough. I only use the type of NC laquer for blackmatch, if you need it for other comps. I would suggest you buy it from Skylighter of make it from smokeless gunpowder.

THINGS YOU NEED:

400ml of Acetone, this can be found at hardware stores.

3 Ping Pong Balls, these can be found at Wal-mart.

Glass jar, this can be found almost anywhere( like the fridge:-)

Something to measure volume, like a beaker or grad. cylinder.

HOW TO DO IT:

STEP ONE:

Measure out 400ml of acetone. Pour this into your glass jar.

STEP TWO:

Put the ping pong balls into the jar( note:I can only fit two at a time)

The balls sould start to get soft.

The balls should loose all of their air and sink.

With a bit of stiring, the balls should disolve and you have NC laquer. The ratios may need to be adjusted depending on what you plan of doing with it.
