ALL of the puppies went to their new homes today. We only get to have them for just a very short time, it's so hard to see them all leave at once. Our only consolation is the wonderful homes they are all going to. Most of the puppies from this litter actually went to people who already have dogs from us, so it made it so much easier knowing that these are people we trust completely with our pups. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT EIGHT WEEKS OLD MARCH 11, 2018 - Pups are 8 weeks old and went to the Vets today for their first shots, health checkups and to get their Health Certificates for when their new owners come to pick them up next Saturday. It's amazing how time flies so fast when you love what you do. It will be a very emotional day when they leave us. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT SEVEN WEEKS OLD MARCH 4, 2018 - **. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT SIX WEEKS OLD FEBRUARY 25, 2018 - At six weeks old, the pups are really starting to show their personalities. They are always so cute at this stage, it is hard to believe they will be leaving us in a short three weeks. Tears are acomin'. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT FIVE WEEKS OLD FEBRUARY 18, 2018 - Grace is still nursing her pups every once in a while, but they are pretty much eating on their own. We are so used to pups that literally swim in their food, but this bunch are the most polite pups ever!! Although, we did find out why the drinking water was always so dirty ... they like to swim in it! LOL!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT FOUR WEEKS OLD FEBRUARY 11, 2018 - At four weeks, these pups have really grown into some big healthy pups ... who love to sleep all day ... just like they will when guardian livestock ... because predators come out at night. You can get an idea of how big they are from the photo of the pup next to the food dish (flying saucer) ... it's 15" in diameter. That's one of the girl pups laying next to it. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT THREE WEEKS OLD FEBRUARY 4, 2018 - Puppies at 3 weeks old and just growing like weeks. I have inserted a collage of heads on this litter. Beautiful big heads!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT TWO WEEKS OLD JANUARY 28, 2018 - At two weeks old, the pups' eyes have opened and they have gotten busy playing with each other, puppy growling and barking. It is such a cute time in their growth to watch. As you can see in this photo, their independence is starting to show early. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* PUPPIES AT ONE WEEK OLD JANUARY 21, 2018 - Grace has shown to be an exceptional mother, and we are very proud of this exceedingly consistent litter at one week old. This morning she gifted us with nine beautiful pups ... 5 handsome boys & 4 gorgeous girls. Can't wait for their eyes to open, and they look more like puppies and less like otters!! JANUARY 5th, 2018 - Grace at 52 days gestation is definitely preggers, so time to set up a Vet visit for x-rays to get a puppy count. DECEMBER 20th, 2017 - Grace is definitely acting like she is preggers, but still too soon to be sure. The next two weeks will be long. NOVEMBER 13th & 14th, 2017 - Grace was bred to Taz these two days, so now we wait for the next five weeks to see if it took. NOVEMBER 4th, 2017 - Grace came into season today, so next Monday she will go in for her physical to make sure everything is good. Grace & Taz will also get tested for Brucellosis. UPDATED 03/17/2018
