1. How did the band get started? How did you meet and how long have you been together?
Angel Corpse began when myself on guitars, Pete (formerly of the band Order From Chaos) and John got together in mid 96’ to start some songs and make a real evil and brutal demo. That particular demo got us a 4 album deal with Osmose Production only a few weeks after it was done. Currently we are awaiting the U.S. release of debut album “Hammer of Gods”
2. How would you describe your music?
Chaotic, sick, holocaust, inspiring...
3. What are your biggest influences?
Mostly old thrash/death metal bands such as Possessed, Sodom, and others. Of Course there’s other types of music we all listen to that maybe isnt metal, but is done by adept musicians in their particular genres
4. Who if any do you consider the bands idols?
Minion and Sweet Tooth
5. What made you want to be in the band? And if you weren’t in the band what would you be doing now?
Playing this stuff is rather boring if you dont have drummer, vocals and bass, so it’s only natural to form a band. If I wasnt a founding member of this band I’d be starting another
6. What are some of your favorite bands that are really popular today?
Morbid Angel and Slayer are pretty big nowadays. Many of my favorite bands arent even around anymore

8. What does the future hold for the band?
We’re currently looking to put together a tour for the summer here in the states in support of our debut albums release. After that we’ll be going in the studio to record our new album entitled “Exterminate”
9. If you could play with any band who would it be and why?
There’s this older band down under called “Martire” who are one of the most frantic and insane bands ever
10. Who writes the majority of the music?
I do. I wrote all the songs on the “Hammer” album and I’m sure at least half of the next album will be done by me as well. But the other guys have great ideas too, so we generate songs fairly rapidly
11. Who has been the favorite band you’ve played with and why?
It’s hard to say. We did a show with this band from L.A. called Infamy who were pretty fucking brutal
12. Where did you get the band name from?
Well...uh...ya see... uh... we stole the Angel from Morbid Angel and the corpse from Cannibal Corpse
13. Describe what the band is like live?
Merciless Death and Mayhem!
14. If you are gonna do any kind of video what would be in it?
The superman suppressing his inferiors and quickening the pace of the winds of change. Lots of war footage and bodies ripped apart in the name of our glory
15. Are there any touring plans made; if so tell me about them?
The tour for the summer, and in early 98’ we hope to do some major touring of Europe and the U.S.
16. Where do you think the band will be 20 years from now?
Well, we arent Motorhead and I believe by then we may all very much be dead (I’m a born poet and you know it)
