Ever since Goyalatrix returned with Brooklyn's Soul tear a knot has formed in her stomache. Each day that has passed the pain had grown sharper and larger. She couldn't even eat.
"Goyalatrix,"The Quen sang her name. "Lupyros." Both monstrites appeard before the queen and bowed.
"Ah here are my darlings," Hectate purred. "I believe there may be another Tear with a shard. Could you two be dears and fetch it for me?"
"Yes my queen," They said in Unison
Goyalatrix slid the bowl across the floor of the glyphs. She got on her knees in front of it. Out stretched her arms, closed her eyes, and said
"Show me the last carrior of a shard," Her reflection rippled and changed to a tom cat.
" A cat?" Lupyros asked. "That shouldn't be too hard." Goyalatrix made the image and handed it to Lupyros.
"We'll go tommorow," She said "I'm going to take some medicine and try to eat something."
"Good, you haven't been looking to healthy." He left. Goyalatrix looked at the basin again.
"What was I before I became a monstrite?" The image changed to the vision of Goyalatrix as a normal human child. The image jumped a few years ahead to see afrightened Goyalatrix standing in the shadow of Hectate. Using her sceptor. Hectate changed Goyalatrix into a gargoyle and then into a monstrite.
"So thats it," She said as tear drops fell into the basin. Sadness turned to anger and she stormed out of her room. She entered the underground room and tunnels. She walked straight to the area that kept the soul tears. She opened the doors, took the tear and left through the secret passage.
Goliath looked up from his book at Brooklyn and sighed. Bronx looked at the still stone gargoyle and back at Goliath whimpering.
"I know boy," Goliath said and returned to his book. Bronx flopped on the ground. A few minutes later one of his oversized ears stood erect then both. The gargoyle beast stood up, growled and bounded for the tower. Goliath left a marker in the book and followed him.
Bronx was snarling at a powder blue gargoyle stanidng on one of the battlement's. Goliath's first reaction was to shout Demona's name, but when he got a good look at he saw that it ws not Demona
"What are you doing here?" Goliatht asked his eyes have begun to glow. "Havent you caused enough trouble?"
"I w-want to rrreturn thisss," Goyalatrix replied and held out the soul tear. Goliath noticed her shaking talons
"Come in," He said in a low voice. She stepped down stumbled and entered Wyvern.
"I'm sorry if I frightend you," He said while she walked to Brooklyn's stone form.
"You didn't scare me," She said and collapsed to her knees. "I haven't eatin in the past two days." The tear floated towards Brooklyn and was absorbed. immediatly the stone skin was shattered and Brooklyn's eyes blazing roared.
"Brooklyn!" Goliath ran towards his second. Bronx knocked the red gargoyle down before licking his beak
"Hey hey, knock it off," Brooklyn said smiling. He then looked at Goyalatrix. "I'm glad you reconsidered...you look i'll is something wrong?"
"She is in great need of food," Goliath said. "Owen!" He belowed
"I heard everything," Owen said. "I'm preparing some food as we speak.
"Thank you," The female whispered.
"Beautiful," Angela said landing on the battlement a few hours later." I have never seen or hear anyone who could play as well as Michelle." The others landed behind her.
"I'm hungry," Broadway announced.
"What else is new?" Lexington asked under his breath.
"Lex!" Miranda gave him a good look.
"Sorry Randy," Lex appologised.
"Miranda," She corrected.
Hudson gav a little chuckle." We better check on Brooklyn before filling our bellies."
The group entered their dining room and heard footsteps
"Goliaht?" Lexington asked
"Nay it sounds human." Hudson said. His assumption was right the person that entered was Goyalatrix in her human form. All five pairs of eyes blazed as Broadway snarled.
"How dare you come here."
"You have some nerve," Angela added. Lexington and Miranda pounced while Hudson unsheathed his sword.
"Leave her alone!" Brooklyn leaped infront of Goyalatrix. His arms outstretched as well as his wings sheilding. Everyone else stopped in their tracks and eyes resumed back to normal. It was quite exactly one second before.
"Lad!"
"Brooklynn!"
"Your not Stone!"
"Your feeling better.'
"But how?"
"She returned my tear," He pointed back at Goyalatrix. More questions were asked and most of them were answered by the monstrite.
"One more question," Broadway asked.
"Yes," Goyalatrix nodded.
"Do you object to having a nickname like' Trixie?"
"Goyalatrix was my monstrite name. Since I'm no longer with them I shall be called Trixie. My new name for my new life."
"Trixie," Brooklyn said. "I like it."
Sunday morning found Keyla and Sadie strolling down the sidewalk towards the animal shelter where they planned on doing some volunteer work. Sadie carried Celest and Orion was carried by Keyla.
Before entering the building they had encountered Amara and Michelle
"Hey upperclassmen from a rival campus," Amara greeted
"Amara what kind of greeting is that?" Michelle asked. "Hello you two its nice to see you."
"Hi," Sadie said
"Hello Michelle you were great last night," Keyla said.
"Thank you Any news on Brooklyn?"
"You won't believe this but while we were at the concert. Goyalatrix came to Wyvern and returned the Soultear." Keyla reported Amara and Michelle appeard to be shocked
"I knew she would," Sadie said. "She put away the darkness to let the kindess and love in her heart shine."
"You two see things the same was as Serena and her friends," Amara said.
"At first we thought it was a sign of weakness and immuturity but since your both older tells us that we still have some maturing to do," Michelle added.
"Speaking of mature your college friends are waiting for us." Amara said. "Lets go."
Lupyros was still in shock over Goyalatrix's betrayel that he couldn't hear Hectate. correctly.
"Are you paying attention?" She screeched.
"Uh um you want us to get the soul tears?" He asked.
"And?"
"And and..."
"If we see Goyalatrix kill her," The shadowy woman stepped foreward. She was lean and tall. She wore a slinky gown with a serpentine print and a cloak of pure snakeskin.
"Oh right," The redheaed male said.
"Don't worry you concentrate on getting the shard, I'll kill her."
"Excellent," Hectate purred "Now Medusine you accompy him.
" A nice quiet afternoon, isn't it my dear?" Felix asked.
"Yes it is," Chrissy said and kept checking her crystal.
"Could you please give that a rest?"
"I'm sorry Felix its that I have a feeling it will go off any second."
"I hope you find it soon. This is the last one right?"
"Yes, but then I have to figure out how to get the other ones that the eneimies have."
"Then can we relax?"
"Yes." The two of them closed in for a kiss, when the crystal went off. Feldspar feeling spent leaned back into his chair and sighed
"I have to do this," Chrissy said and left.
The six volunteers filled plastic bowls with food and water. They cleaned up pens and cages as well as animals. Celest and Orion watched from the distance.
"Urk," The grey female said.
"What?" Orion asked.
"That Orange tom cat leered at me."
"Celest dont be ridiculus," He said before giving the other cat the evil eye.
"Orion!"
"What is it now?"
"Chrissy is here."
"Then that means there is also a shard carrior." Orion ran to the purple haired woman while Celest ran inside to tell the gang.
What Celest ran into was the Orange Tom who sniffed her, and rubbed against her purring.
"Uh hi," Celest said. "I hope you don't mind but I'm on an important mission."
"Celest what are you doing here?" Dara asked and picked her up.
"Chrissy is here," The grey cat said.
"We better tell the others." The auburn haired girl said, and was was about to walk off when a woman with long tendrils of hair shoved her aside.
"Out of my way wimp," The woman hissed. Dara immediatly reconized her.
"Gotta transform Celest," She said. The grey cat ran off to find the others.
"When she found them she told them they needed to transform.
"Gotcha," Keyla said. "C'mon." She and the others found a hiding place.
"Sun Cosmic Power!"
"Centauri Star Power!"
"Uranus Planet Power!"
"Neptune Planet Power!"
"Shadow ring Power!" Evan pressed the button on the baton and tossed it in the air. He caught it and his transformation sequence began.
"Hello Kitty," Lupyros said staring at the cat.
"Meow!" The Orange Tom meowed. The cat hissed before running off and was caught by Medusine.
"Howl out his tear," She said and held him out. Lupyros howled a long deep howl causing the crystal like tear to pop out.
"Shadow Cloud Engulf!" The black poisonous cloud surrounded Lupyros.
"Enchanted by a new age I am Lady Shadow acting mysteriously." Lady Shadow hopped into view. Medusine dropped the cat and shifted. Her skin turned green, eyes snakelike and hair into snakes.
"Poisonous bubles," bottle green bubbles zoomed in on Lady shadow. The snake woman turned to the tear wich was now in the possesion of Chrystia. Orion in Griffon form sat next to her.
"Step out Beastie!" Medusine shouted a scaley animal trainer with whips entered. "Tke care of them."
"Yes Madam." The Beastie lashed his whips at the two. Lupyros ws coming out of the cloud.
"Deep Submerge!" The aqua sphere pounded into Medusine. Sailor Neptune went to help Chrystia and Orion.
"Step out Beastie." a rodent like ninja was about to help out in the battle
"Centauri Stone Minotaur!" Centauri shouted a Minotaur carved out of solid stone barreled into Lupyros. Centauri was followed by Celest and Uranus. Sun and Razor Cane held back to heal Shadow.
Neptune delivered a kick to the back of the beasties head. Orion took the whips in his beak and yanked it from his hand.
After Sun healed Shadow the three of them went to take on the rodent ninja.
"Sun Aurora Borealis." After Sun delivered the attck Shadow added hers. Both attacks bonded to the Shuriken that Razor Cane just tossed. It struck the ninja dusting it. A pair of nunchuks fell down and a chip popped out
Chrystia had removed the shard. She replaced the tear back into the cat unaware that Lupyros and Medusine were behind her.
"World Shaking!"
"Deep Submerge!"
"Centauri Rock Slide!" The combination of the three attacks smoked the beastie and a snake chip fell to the ground.
A suprised and fearful gasp brought the attention back to Chrystia. The two Monstrites centered in on the former general.
A funnel of light surrounded the orange cat. When the light subsided a large golden three tailed winged lion with horns stood in its place. The transformed feline let out a roar before firing a stinger from each tail. Both monstrites squealed as they tried to dodge the darts. The collided into each other and noticed they were surrounded.
"I don't like this at all," Medusine complained
"Right toots." Lupyros agreed. "Lets beat this joint." The two of them leaped through a vortex. The Lion changed back into a cat and collapsed
Things seemed to be back to normal. Evan and the girls helped the shelter employees clean up the mess from the battle. The orange cat was checked by a vet and given a clean bill of health.
"Oh Felix this one is handsome." Chrissy said holding up the orange tom.
"Is that the one you want dear?" Felix asked. Chrystia nodded
"If you step this way and fill out some forms," The employee said.
"Looks like our friend is going to a good home," Orion said from outside. Celest agreed
"True." Now that we have found all seven warriors we need to find a way to get the other two shards away from our enemy."
