"This is the fire room where we have our meetings," Keyla said smiling. she and the other Ladies were showing Amara and Michelle around Wyvern
"Is there a private place for you to sculpt?" Michelle asked Laurine.
"I tend to do all my sculpting at home," Laurine said.
"How's the tour going?" Fox entered with little Alex. Michelle's eyes immediatly lit up.
"Oh he's beautiful," The 16 year old said.
"Petty gell, petty gell," Alex said reaching for Michelle.
"Looks like he wants to go to you." She handed the one year old to Michelle. Alex immediatly smiled.
"Ever since you held baby Hotaru you have a knack with babies," Amara said.
"Baby Hotaru?" Keyla asked.
"Hotaru? She's like twelve," Orion said.
"Not any more," Amara told them
"What happened?" Keyla asked.
"Yeah tell us," Merle spoke up.
"We all want to know," Lexington asked. The rest of the gargoyles entered the room. Amara told them about Hotaru having the sign of Saturn, Tellu,Viluy,the twins. She told them how mistress nine possesed Hotaru and stole Rini's heart crystal. Turned a highschool into their base. Pluto sacrificing herself to save Neptune and Uranus, When Pharo's 90 came to Earth and nearly destroyed the planet ad the glorius moment when Hotaru overthrew mistress nine became Saturn, fougth Pharos 90 and how Sailormoon went Super without the cup and found her as a baby. She finished with them challenging Sailormoon.
"Hotaru is Saturn?" Keyla gasped.
"Poor Pluto," Laurine said.
"Is the child Rini allright?" Goliath asked.
"How could you do such things," Angela snapped.
"Pluto is at the time gates. Rini is allright, we had our reasons," Michelle answered
"Its getting late," Amarah said "Tommorow is the marathon. I suggest Riley should get some sleep as well, lets go Michelle." Michelle returned the sleeping Alex to his mother and followed her cousin.
"It is getting late," Riley said "See you all at the Marathon."
Riley woke up early the next morning.
"I have fixed you a high energy breakfast dear," Her mother said.
"Thanx mom." She sat at the table between her mother and father. Dad had just added sugar to his coffee when he asked "I know you have the marathon this morning," He said. "What are your plans for the rest of the week?"
"Huh? Oh yeah just started spring break," Riley said while pouring her juice." Hang out with my friends and work."
"Sounds sensible," Her mother said." Harv did you put batteries in the video camera?"
"Uh-huh," Mr. Green said
"Why are you bringing the video camera?" Riley asked.
"Gotta make a tape for Carla," Her dad answered.
"She will be so proud of you," Mom added
'I've made them proud,' She thought. 'I have finaly made them proud.'
While waiting in line Riley did some stretching exercises to warm up her thighs and calves. Finally she made it to the desk.
"Name please," The man behind the desk asked.
"Riley Green," Riley said.
"Here is your number and AID's ribbon," He handed her her items.
"Thankyou," Riley said and hung the loop part around her head
"Marathon starts at ten."
"Gotcha," She walked away from the desk and tried to tie the straps around her back.
"Here let me help," Amara said and tied the straps for Riley. The raven haired girl pinned on her ribbon
"So your number 29," Amara said
"And your 18," Riley replied. Is Michelle here?"
"I let her sleep in, she should be here before the race starts." They walked around the crowds and immediatly spotted Dara and her college friends
"Hi Dara, Marcie,Evan." Riley greeted. Amara also gave her hello.
"Hey you two. All suited up for the race I see," Dara said.
"when does it start?" Marcie asked.
"In a little over an hour," Amara answered.
With a shakey hand Goyalatrix drew some new glyphs with golden white chalk. She placed her basin on top of them.
"Oh sacred basin show me the next target," She said. The image of her reflection rippled and changed to the image of an old man. She placed a flimsy square of paper on the image.
"Transfer," She ordered. There was flash and the paper floated to her hand an image of the man attached.
"Got the image?" Lupyros entered the room crunching on an apple.
"Yes are you ready to go?"
"I am,but are you?"
"Huh?"
"Are you sure you won't freak out again?"
"I'll be fine don't worry about me."
It was nearly ten and the runners took their places behind the line.
"You can do it Cous!" Michelle shouted.
"Amara you look cool!" Keyla yelled.
"Look at me Amara!" Merle added.
"I believe in you Riley," Sadie called.
"You look great in you outfit Riley!" Laurine commented.
"Go for it kid!" Dara finished. The two senshi runners noticed their friends and waved at them.
"All right runners," The anouncer shouted." The path is clearly marked. The blue areas are water,the red are places to eat and the green are restrooms. Now on your mark, get set go!" and they were off. Riley and Amara led the way running neck to neck. They zipped past their friends in a blur.
"There they go," Michelle said.
"I blinked and missed them," Sadie said.
"Here come the rest of the runners." Laurine said as the rest of the marathon runners rushed past. A few minutes later the last of the runners had finished running past them.
"So now what do you want to do?" Merle asked.
"Study at Wyvern?" Sadie suggested. Dara cleared her throught."Marcie and Evan," She whispered.
"How about study NYU?" Keyla asked loudly. "I need a little makeup." She said under her breath. Dara gave her an understanding smile.
Chrissy adjusted her mike and smiled at the camera crew. Th finger gestures read two then one.
"Hello viewers this is Chrissy Spars reporting for WVRN," She said with a smile."I'm here at the starting line for the 'Race for Life' with Albus Kreuger the man who made this all possible." The camera panned over the marathon banner ad back to Chrissy and Mr. Kreuger."Mr. Kreugar this marathon isn'st really a race isnt it?" She placed the mike in front of Mr. Kreugar."
"No it isn't." He answered.
"but why is it called race for life?"
"Because of many people suffering with AIDS are dependant on Doctors and Scientists racing to find a cure."
"This is a charity even right?"
"Yes it is all the money raised will go to AIDS research."
"How is the money collected?"
"Each runner has several sponsers who pledged to pay a certain amount of money for each mile ran,jogged,or walked."
"Can you give us an estimate of how much will be raised?"
"At least a quarter of a million dollars." The interview went on for a few minutes before Chrissy gave her sign off. The crew was packing up when the dark crystal went off.
"The sixth shard is here," She said softly and pulled out the crystal "Who has it?" The image of Albus Kreugar was in the crystal.
