Within the mansion Lupyros was reading the newspaper.
"Hmm I bet one of these runners has a SoulTear," The red headed man said.
"Maybe but lets see what the bowl says," Goyalatrix said and kneeled in front of it."Who is the next target? The water rippled to show a woman in front of a mural.
"Megan Shriver," Goyalatirx said.
"Good lets go," Lupyros said.
"All right, but do we have to stop for food first?"
"well...."
>"Its not really a race," Merle said at the Ram's race track.
"I know but I still have to keep up the practice," Riley said. She was standing at the starting line.
"Oh all right. On your mark, get set, Go!" Riley sped off in a blur. She ran as fast as her senshi persona a comet. she stretched her legs and pumped her arms
'I'm not just doing this for myself,' She thought. 'but to help fund the research to fight a horable disease.' She had completed a lap when she heard a second pair of footsteps running behind her.
'Another runner?' she thought.'Can't be Merle she's sitting at the sidelines, but it sounds like whoever it is wants to race. I'll give him or her a race allright.' She accelerated her speed. The other runner caught up with her. It was a teenage girl with short blond boyish hair. This girl was huffing and sweating as much as Riley. Riley ran even faster, so did the other girl. The didn't stop til Merle waved her jacket over the finish line.
"Wow (gasp) you were great(gasp),"Riley commented.
"Your(gasp) not so (gasp) bad yourself(gasp). I never met(gasp) anyone who could (gasp) keep up with me."
"The same here (gasp)." Both girls accepted the bottled water Merle offered.
"Do you go to school here?" Merle asked.
"Yes my cousin and I just transfered here," The other girl said.
"I'll be more than happy to be your guide. I'm Riley."
"My name is Amara Tenoh."
"And I'm Merle"
"Amarah are you going to join track?" Riley asked
"Perhaps, I'm basically training for the AIDS marathon."
"Hey me too." Riley said.
"Perhaps we will be running side by side again."
"Leaving everyone in our dust."
"Miss Amarah a friend of ours is treating all of us to dine at the NYU campus," Merle said. "Perhaps you and your cousin can join us."
"I would love too, but Michelle and I have arangments for Chez Fromage Vin."
Goyalatrix watched from a few feet away. She was confused by everything, the fact that Megan tried to protect her, the creatures that resembled her monstrite form,but the arrival of the Ladys snapped her attention back into focus. She shifted into her gargoyle form and called her beastie forth. A hulking giant that looked like several boulders stuck together.
The female monstrite hopped onto his shoulders
"Some highschool students are joining us for dinner," The note said and was signed by Dara.
"Hey Phillip, some younger students are joining us for dinner," Evan called.
"Can't," Phillip said. "I'm going to my first quarryman meeting."
"I can't believe you would rather attend one of their meetings instead of eating with a bunch of girls."
"Bound to be some quarrychicks there." After Phillip left Evan sighed.
"Do you still have your charm?" The little girl was back.
"How do you keep doing that?" Evan asked.
"I just do, so you still have your charm?"
"You mean this?" He pulled out the batton with the button.
"Yes, your still going to need it."
"To become that guy again?"
"Yes, you must become Razor Can to help her."
"Her?"
"Lady Shadow, She's not like the others."
"How is she not like the others?"
"Can't talk now, I have to go." The child walked out of the room.
"Hey wait," He ran out of the room. She was gone
"So its a double date?" Mr Miller asked
"Yes dad, I'm doubling with Michelle and her cousin." Laurine said.She took a quick glance in the mirror to make sure her hair was still in place. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. Mr. Miller answered it. Asten was wearing a fine blue suit and holding a small bouquet
"Mr. Miller, May I come in?" Asten asked.
"Yes you may," mr Miller stepped back to let Asten in."I hear you were a musician."
"Yes I am."
"What instrument do you play and the name of your band?"
"Second chair violin for the New York Symphony." That floored Laurine's Father. All he could say after that was "bring her back before midnight."
"Its such a beautiful night," Michelle said whimsically. She, Amara,Asten and Laurine were strolling to the restauraunt.
"Still a bit chilly though," Laurine said and shivered. Asten put his arm around her. They noticed Megan Shriver was across the street spray painting her mural.
"That woman is very dedicated,"Amara noted.
"A person like that must have a deep and beautiful soul," Michelle added.
'A deep and beautiful soul. Thats the type of person the monstrites are after.' Laurine thought.
"Laurine are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Asten asked.
"what are you two thinking?" Amara asked.
"That Artist's think alike," Laurine said making Michelle smile. The four of them were seated by a window that oversaw Megan painting.
"C'mon C'mon,"Lupyros grumbled at the slowly setting Sun."Its gonna be a full moon night."
"Why don't we just go now?" Goyalatrix asked.
"I've read about the myths of this planet. Werewolves prowl during the full moon."
"Your not really a werewolf,." She pointed out. "And the sun has set, now lets go get miss Shriver's Soul Tear."
Elisa leaned back and watched as the gargoyles shook off the last of their stone skin
"Good evening Elisa," Goliath greeted.
"Hey big guy." The Detective said
"Hi Elisa."

"Good evening."

"Evening Lass." The rest of the clan gave their greetings and ran past her for breakfast and entertainment. Little Miranda stopped out front.
"Good evening Miss Maza," She said
"Hey Miranda,uh you can call me Elisa."
"All right Is Keyla going to stop by?"
"Not sure she and the others are having dinner at NYU."
"Ok," She scampered into the castle
"Are they looking for the right campus?" Goliath asked
"Yep they are at the pinpoint of life where they are searching for higher education. Graduation isnt to far away."
"I understand." They headed into their wing. Lex was in a chat room explaining to Miranda what the internet was about. Hudson was clicking through the channels to find something good. Brooklyn and Angela were playing a card game and Broadway was fixing breakfast.
"When you are all done eating you will take thes patrol assingments," The lavender gargoyle spoke up. When he had everyone's attention."Brooklyn,Miranda,and Broadway will take uptown,Hudson you and Angela,Central Park. Lexngton, you and Bronx will take downtown with me."
"I love the way the city seems to glow with all the lights," Miranda commented while they glided.
"Me too I like the neon lights the best," Broadway said.
"Lexington is explaining how all these technologies work," Miranda said.
"Glad you are adjusting easily," Brooklyn told her. Miranda smiled at him
'She is pretty,sweet,and smart,'Brooklyn thought 'but her love of science has brought her closer to Lexington instead.' He remembered what had happened during the quest. He made Miranda feel at ease and answeed any question's she asked but she had seemed to only want to be with Lex. Brook sighed. Shot down again.
"Whats that?" Miranda asked and glided down to perch on the rook of a fancy restaraunt. Brooklyn and Broadway followed. Miranda seemed interested in the woman spray painting a wall.
"Isn't that illegal?" The female gargoyle asked.
"Nah she's paidn to do that," Broadway explained. "Its called painting a mural."
"The fight AIDs marathon," Brooklyn said. "I heard Riley is participating in that."
"Well fancy meeting you guys." A grey cat sat down next to Brooklyn.
"Hi Celest," Brooklyn greeted. The other two gargoyles said hello as well.
"So why are you here?" Broadway asked.
"Laurine and Asten are inside dining with some new friends,"Celest replied.
"New friends?"
"Yes Michelle Kaioh and Amara T'enoh."
"We've hear those names before along with a Trista," Miranda said.
"Sailor Soldiers. They are Sailor Soldiers..." Brooklyn realised.
"So whats the game plan?" Lupyros asked.
"I distract her while you transform and take her soul tear," Goyalatrix replied.
"Why are letting me get the prize?" The red head asked.
"Cause I already brought Hectate a treasure."
"Ok," He disapeard. Goyalatrix walked up to Megan. The woman paused when Goyaltrix approached
"Oh don't mind me I'm just an admirer," The blond said.
"Thank you. Have you seen my other work?"
"No I just think its grand that you are dedicated with your work and its such as important cause."
"I hope that we can find a cure soon." They were interutped by a growling wound. Lupyros in his wolf form.
"Get out of here," Megan pushed Goyalatrix out of the way as Lupyros grabbed her.
"A werewolf?" Miranda asked spreading her wings.
"A monstrite," Celest said and called the girls that were at NYU.
"He isnt going to get that Woman's Soultear," Broadway said eyes blazing white. Brooklyn gave the command and the three of them sprung into action. Celest leaped off the roof and into Laurine's arms
"We saw everything from the inside," Laurine whispered.
"No need to whisper," Celest spoke out loud."Amara and Michelle are Sailor Soldiers."
"You are?" Asten asked and the two younger girls nodded.
"Enough chit chat find a place to transform now!"
The five of them ran into an alley. The dark blue mist formed around Asten.
"Andromeda Star Power!"
"Uranus Planet Power!"
"Neptune Planet Power!"
"I have to help them out." Dara told Evan and followed Riley and Keyla.
"I'm going to freshen up." Evan said to Merle,Kylie,Ethan and Sadie."you guys snag a pool table and I'll join you." He headed to the mens room.
Evan was washing his hands when he head her again.
"Sneak out the window,." The little girl said. Evan was about to ask why she was in the mens room but didn't instead he said
"Excuse me?"
"Sneak out the window and become Razor Cane."
"Is Lady Shadow in trouble?"
"Uh-huh." Evan crawled out of the window and pressed the button before tossin it in the air and catching it. His clothes changed to that of the hero he was the other day. He scurried to the top of a building and leaped from rooftop to rooftop.
Lupyros let out a low howl and Megan's Soul tear came out of her chest.
"One with a shard, Hecate will be so happy." Lupyros was about to take it.
"Too bad she will be disapointed," A male voice said as Brooklyn glided in
"What the hell?" The bewildered werewolf asked as he was surrounded by growling gargoyles
'Goyalatrix is having a family reunion?' He thought before shouting "Hey toots, your relatives are here."
"Whats he talking about?" Miranda asked.
"I think I know." Broadway said in a low voice
"It appears you are surrounded," Azurite entered."All right girls make with the speeches."
"Heralded by a new age I am Sailor Uranus acting gorgeously."
"Similary here Sailor Neptune acting elegantly."
"Invited by a new age I am the creative Lady Andromeda."
"Sick those Ladies," She ordered.
The lumbering sound of the stone beastie sent the girls running towards it. Goyalatrix leaped down from her creation to watch.
"Deep Submerge!" Neptune gathered streamers of water into a aball that was sent foreward to the beastie. It struck and snapped it backward. The beastie was soaking and its chest was scoured but it continued
"World Shaking!" A golden orb formed in Uranus's hand and she struck it on the ground. The orb rolled towards the stone giant it stumbled but continued
"Andromeda Siren Shriek!" The high pitched squeal managed to stall it but it continued.
"Damn it!" Asten ran in front of it and sent his dark beam to strike it. The beam knocked gravel and shards off but it didnt stop it.
"We keep fighting," Andromeda said. The others nodded
"Fang Inferno!" Lupyros sent his attack at Broadway and Miranda. Broadway got singed while protecting Miranda. A few feet away Brooklyn confronted Goyalatrix.
"Your not going to do this,." She said.
"Do what?' Brooklyn asked
"Play your mind games like this." The female monstrite replied and continued when she saw Brooklyn's confused look. "Dont give me that look. you know looking like me. Creatures like me don't exist on this planet."
"We do,"Brooklyn said."There are many gargoyle clans on Earth."
"No! My queen said that there weren't, she said because of that we would be shunned."
"She is wrong. Some humans fear us but there are many who are our friends.Look Out!" He pushed her out of the way when Lupyros's fire got to close.
"Lupyros you idiot, You nearly burned us!" Goyalatrix scolded. 'us?' she thought 'did I say that?' Then to Brooklyn. "Your the second person tonight to be more concerned about my saftey than your own."
"Who was the first?"
"She was," She pointed to Megan. Chrystia had arrived and was extracting the soul tear from Megan. Goyalatrix was about to run and attack but Brooklyn held her back.
"Do you really want to do this?" He asked.
"Beatie step out Paintbear." Lupyros ordered. A bestie dressed like a painter appeard. It was armed with many paintbrushed to throw
"Shadow Cloud Engulf!"
"Shooting Stars Away!"
"Sun Light Disc Spin!" All three attacks centered in on the beatie immediatly dusting it. Galatic Ladies, Sun, Comet, and Shadow arrived.
"You three are pissing me off," Lupyros growled and rushed towards them. He didnt see the masked man behind him wacking him in the back of the head with his cane.
"You again," The werewolf growled.
"The name is Razor Cane!" Razor Cane said with the point of his cane facing Lupyros's face,before throwing his shuriken at the other beastie.
"Comet Interstellar Explosion!"
"Sun Aurorah Borealis!" The two attacks attached themselves to the shuriken and it struck the stone beastie knocking it back.
"Yes!" Andromeda shouted.
"That seemed to work," Neptune added.
"Now how do we kill it?' Uranus asked.
"Nooo!" Goyalatrix yelled. "It is a human inside."
"I'll take care of it." Megan said. She know resembled a were unicorn. A beam of light shone from her horn onto the beatie changing it back to a phone lines man.
"Damn!" Lupyros shouted and leaped into a vortex. Goyalatrix started to follow.
"Wait don't go." Brooklyn told her
"I have to." She said and shifted back into a human and leaped through.
"You see," Broadway told him after being healed."She's one of them."
"No, she want's to be good." Brooklyn said
"I agree," Azurite said "Chrissy and I were in the same spot."
"Azzie's right but she will have to make the first move," Chrissy said before tossing the pink heart shaped jewel to Comet. Megan was changed back and Razor Cane has left. Neptune walked up to Andromeda.
"I believe my cousin and I will stay longer than expected," She said.
"How long?" Andromeda asked.
"Until this threat is over."
