I love the nightlife, Double trouble

Laurine grumbled as she entered her apartment.
"Tough school day?"Dillon asked.
"You have no idea." She replied
"Just a few more weeks till spring break."
"College students get to have it sooner."
"Next year you get to go to college."
"Are you just stating facts or trying to cheer me up?"
"Dunno."
"Well school is just part of it." A new club is opening across the street from the Neon Lizard."
"Is it just like the Neon Lizard?"
"Naw its one of those weird goth clubs."
"Those places freak me out," Tracey said coming in."Give me the Neon Lizard Anyday."
"Thanks sis, I'm going to take a nap. If anyone calls come and get me."

The make up Lady added the finishing touches to Chrissy's face.
"Chrissy we are ready to roll."
"Gotcha." Chrissy said. She strolled over infront of goth looking people.
"Ready," The soundman said "5,4,3...."
"Hi I'm Chrissy Spars welcome to Spotlight where I highlight local interests," Chrissy said flashing her smile."Tonight Shadow Dancer, the new night club for thoes into the goth scene." Chrissy went on to talk about the events that go on in Shadowdancer, the music before interviewing some of the locals. Her final interview was with Roy Raphis,one of the bouncers.
"The Bar tenders card everyone keeping alchahol away from minors," Says Roy "And we keep a sharp lookout to make this place drug free."
"Thank you Roy..."Chrissy turned back to the camera."You heard it here first folks."
"And cut,thats a wrap," Everyone relaxed a little before packing up. Chriss's assistant went to get her a glass of water. Chrissy sat down and sighed.
'I have this job and the job of retrieving the shards of the Corazon Del Sol,' she thought. Seconds later a strange blipping sound came out of her pocket. She pulled out the starlit crystal. It was the cause of the blipping and it was flashing.
"Someone here is a carrier of a crystal shard."

An image of Roy was in Orisio's sand Pillar.
"This man has a deep and beautiful soul," He commented before shrinking the image down and letting it float to his hand.
"So you found the next target?" an elegant feminin voice said.
"Whos there?" Orisio asked "Show yourself."
"It's only me."A woman stepped foreward. She ws dressed in a regal looking gown with a leather cloak. She had twin pony tails trailing from a single bun at the top of her head.
"Goyalatrix what are you doing here?"
"Since there is a new Galactic Lady the Queen thought you could use my help," Goyalatrix explained. "Now who is the new target?"
"This is him."
"Kind of creepy. Do you think he might have a jewel inside?"
"If he does then that wierd woman will show up."

Evan entered his dorm to see a large open suitcase on Philipps bed,clothes covered the rest of the bed. Evan went to the closet to get his suit case, When he opened the doors his eyes widened in shock. Haning up was the blue uniform of a quarryman.
"Oh Phillip," He said sadly before turning around to see his roomate.
"So you know," Phillip said.
"Why?"
"This City isnt safe for us regular folks. Its not just the gargoyles its those strange mosnters as well."
"The Galactic Ladies will handle those monsters."
"The Quarrymen will assist them."
"But what about them attacking thoes who don't share their views?" Even protested.
"They need someone to steer them away from that and I'm the guy. Listen I'm going to leave the uniform here." Phillip noticed Evan was beggining to leave.
"Evan where are you going?" He asked.
"I need to be outside...to think."

Evan ended up in a small cafe not to far from campus, inside he saw Dara eating chilli cheese fries and working on her history homework.
"Still studying?" He asked and sat down next to her.
"Yup just two more pages, and I'll be done with homework for history," She answered.
"Thats good," He said before ordering a cup of coffee.
"Why do you seem so glum?" She asked.
"Phillip has joined the Quarrymen."
"What?"
"He thinks he can keep them focused on destroying the gargoyles and staying clear of those who don't share their views."
"Like Pit?"
"Uh huh."

Over at the bar Laurine was pushing around afruit salad with a fork.
"Laurine are you or are you not going to eat?" Riley asked before taking another bite of her grilled chicken salad
"Sorry I just have a lot on my mind right now," Laurine apologised.
"Shadow Dancer?"
"That and the monstrites are searching for a specific type of crystal."
"Chrissy is searching for the same thing."
"I wonder if she knows who the next target is. Well I have to get ready for work." Laurine paid her bill and was about to leave.
"See ya around."

Dara and Evan were about to enter Evan's dorm when Phillip exited the room carrying his luggage
"Gotta catch the Amtrack."Philiip said"Please don't try to talk me out of joining."
"Would you atleast think about it?"Evan asked "During the break."
"Allright I will," He hands Evan two free passes.
"What are these for?" Evan asked
"Shadowdancer. You don't leave til tommorow right?"
"Uh huh."
"Go tonight and take Dara. That is ok with you Dara?"
"Yeah." Dara replied.
"Ok See ya," He left for his taxi.
You don't mind taking a break from your make-up?"
"I'm almost finished,but a study break does sound good."
"You have anything for the goth scene?"
"I'll whip something up."
"Me too see ya."
"Bye Evan." She left for her dorm.

"Are you sure about this dear?" Feldspar asked. He and Chrissy were wearing gothic style clothes and waiting in line to get into shadow dancer.
"I'm positve somone is carrying a crystal shard," Chrissy said.
"But why do you need me?" Felix asked.
"We'll you always said we should go out more often."
"But to a place like this?"

Futher down the line Orisio and Goyalatrix were dressed similary.
"So we just enter,find,the guy,and pull out the soultear?" Goyalatrix asked.
"According to my sources he works here." Oriso replied.
"Well your sources did find that last guy."

"Riley could you pass the cuccumber slices?" Broadway asked while spreading a special paste across bread slices.
"No problem." Riley replied while filling the tea cups. She and the pale gargoyle were fixing study time snacks
"So its just you and Sadie?"
"Yeah Laurine is working and Merle is on a date with Kyle." She carefully balanced the teacups on the tray and caried it out to the fire lounge followed by Broadway and the sandwiches. They placed the food on the coffee table. Sadie took her cup and sipped from it.
"Hmmm good," The Brunette complimented
"Thanks. I'm lucky if I can boil water properly..so tea is one of my only cooking complishments." Riley said "Good thing I have Broadway here to help."
"You miss Keyla,"Broadway noted. "I m sure she is allright and it on't be long before she and the others return."
"I think Broadway is right." Fox said and entered followed by a toddling Alex
"He sure has grown, since the first time I've seen him," Riley said "Hey Cutie."
"Wiley,"Alex said staring at her. Then turned to Sadie "Sattie."
"How is he coming along in his magic lessons?" Sadie asked.
"Flying,hovering,levitation,making his toys fly to him,turning on his nightlight from his crib..." Fox listed.
"Tonight we will learn how to light candles with magic." Puck floated in
"Can we watch?" Riley asked.
"I can never say no to an audience."

Dara checked herself out in the mirror. She was wearing black blouse and skirt,borrowed fishent stockings. On her left arm was all the dark jelly braclets she could find. She had powdered her face and applied the darkest makeup she could find. She even wore very dark red nail polish.
"Miss Dara may I ask what kind of date is this?" Mirror asked.
"First of all this isnt a date,secondly this is sort of the dresscode for this place," Dara said.
"Its not a date? but you are getting dressed up to go someplace with a guy.
"A friend of ours gave us free passes,and I need a studybreak."
"True.but..." Mirror was interupted by the knocking of the dorm room door.
"It must be Evan," She opened the door. Evan was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. He had also powdered his face. Two purple streaks were in his hair.
"Hey check out my nails." He held out his hand, his nails were painted black.
"Pretty cool." Dara complimated "Lets go."

Laurine leaned against the entrance to the Neon Lizard. She shivered in the 59 degree weather. NL's regulars were being faithfull as always but the threat of competition spooked her. She watched as two college aged students raced to Shadow Dancer.
"More clientel for the competition."She groaned.
"Ta da!" Merle stood before her.
"Whoa!" Laurine shouted. "You came here for a date?"
"Yup," Kyle replied." Are you going to card us?"
"Go on ahead." She waved them in.
"Strange dark music filled the air in Shadow Dancer. People started to dance strangly. Chrissy and Feldspar tried to dance like the others but failed as they sat down to rest. Chrissy's crystal began to react again.
"I have to go," She kissed her husband and began to follow the light that lead the way.
Meanwhile Orisio and Goyalatrix noticed Roy taking a break.
"Let's go," Orisio said. Goyalatrix nodded and followed passing by Dara and Evan. Dara immediatly reconized Orisio.
'Two guesss on what he is after,' Dara though and turned to Evan "I'm going to freshen up."
"Uh ok," Evan said. Dara ran to the Ladies room.

"Hello Roy," Orisio said.
"Do I know you?" Roy asked.
"Not Really but you have what we need." Goyalatrix said and began to change. She went from human to a powderblue skinned gargoyle.Orisio shifted to his mummy form.
"Whoa."
"Look at that."
"Check it out." People began to crowd around
"Goyalatrix dear would you do the honors?" Orisio asked
"Gladly," She turned to the crowd"Stone Fist Slam!" She bunched her fist together and theen leaped in the air and landed on the ground fist first causing an earthquake. The other patrons were sent flying and or screaming and fleeing.
"Now to get to work," Orisio said and held out his sceptor.
"So now ther are two of you!" Chrystia shouted.
"Oh no its that woman."
"I also have a partner," She leaped into view followed by a knife wielding Felix.
"I'll take care of her boytoy." Goyalatrix said and leaped into battle.
"Boy toy?" Feldspar asked with a suprised tone. "I'm a man!"

Dara entered the ladie's room and flipped open her compact.
"Mirror its me.Orisio is at it again," Dara said
"After you transform shine the reflection on the eneimeis.
"Ok," She held out her hand."Shadow ring power!"

It was about time for Laurine to take her break when people came running and screaming out of Shadow Dancer.
"Uh oh trouble," Laurine said. She ran inside and grabbed Merle's wrist
"Thoes Monstrites have some gaul," Merle said as they left the Neon Lizard.
"Andromeda star Power!"
"Nebula Star Power!"

Broadway, Riley,and Sadie were deeply engrossed in the magic lesson Puck was teaching Alex when the comminicators went off.
"But we don't know where the trouble is," Sadie said.
"Don't worry just transform." Riley replied "Comet Star Power!"
"Centauri Star Power!"
"Comet friend view!" a small pink orb materialized in front of them. "Where is the trouble?" The orb doubled in size and scenes of the Neon Lizard and Shadown Dancer appeard.
"Ready to roll, er hover?" Centauri asked. Comet nodded. Broadway followed with Bronx in tow.

"I'm not going to let you take his crystal shard!" Chrystia said.
"This isn't about shards." Orisio said and threw a scarab chip at a stranger. The chip was absorbed into the woman's skin. She turned yellowe,eyes green,grew attenae, wigns and a bee's stinger.
"My servant take care of this thorne in my side. Aagh!" a beam of light struck him and Goyalatirx.
"What the?" Orisio's partner asked.
"Enchanted by a new age I am the selfmade Lady Shadow.Acting Mysteriously." Lady Shadow stood before him."Mrs Christia I will take care of the beastie." She leapt after the bee woman.
"Ancient Stones!" Orisio pelted Chrystia with his attack before using the sceptor to remove Roy's Soul tear.
"Artic Wind Gust!" The icy breeze blew the soul tear out of the mummyman's grasp and into Chrystia's hands.
"Invited by a new age I am the Creative Lady Andromeda!
"Enchanted by a new age I am lady Nebula acting politely!" Lady Andromda leapt down in front of Orisio both of them engaged in a battle. While Lady Nebula went to assist Feldspar.

Chrystia carefully removed the shard from the tear. It was clear and diamond shaped. she walked back to Roy and returned his tear.

The bee Lady launched more stingers at Lady shadow who dodged them gracefully.
"Dark cloud engulf!" The poison cloud formed around the beastie.
"Shooting Stars Away!" the attack was uttered and centered on an arrow that struck the monster down.
"Lady Centauri another human under a spell."Lady Shadow said
"Gotcha! Centauri magic dissipation!" The orange dust fell on the beastie chaning her back.
"I can really shake you up,"Goyalatirx said.
"Shake who up?" Broadway appeared behind her.
"Shake y.."She paused when she saw him "yyyour a a." She stammered.
"Gargoyle." He finished for her.
"A creature like me... there are creature's like me here." She stood there in complete shock.
"Aaagh." A scream brought their attention to Roy as a pillar of light formed around him. He now stood dressed in gold with blond hair and white wings
"I am Raphael of the soldiers of light." He introduced "Cross of light!" He sent a cross shaped beam of light at Orisio. The monstrite ran around fanning the flames on his bandages.
"Goyalatrix lets go," He said. His partner looked up at him and both disapeared. Raphael collapsed and turned back into Roy while Chrystia Threw the shard to Andromeda
"This one is yours to keep," the purple haired woman said. Lady shadow turned to leave.
"Wait where are you going?" Lady Centauri asked.
"I have things to do." Was all that she said.
