It's a known fact that behind every up and coming Sailor Moon page there is a raving lunatic. This site is no exception, and neither am I!
Born to loving parents on a peaceful, null crime, tropical, Florida island (that I will not name) I was born. I left that island only months after I was born and lived until I was 8 in the city o' rednecks that is Lakeland. From this frightening beginning I returned to my island home, where I became the verbal punching bag of my peers. I suffered many a painful slings and arrows, and still do to this day. These words have fueled my imagination, and cretivity. Through these enchanced attributes of the human mind I set on a quest to share my twisted visions with the masses!
It all started on Prodigy, where I became involved with a roleplaying group called "Vamps". From Vamps I created my many characters and stories you can find at. When Vamps died my friend Megan who was also in Vamps asked if I would like to roleplay with her over at a Sailor Moon RPG that was on Prodigy. I decided that it would be fun since I had already seen a few episodes of Sailor Moon at the god awful time of 5:00 on my local FOX channel. I decided since I did have a great lack of experiance with Sailor Moon, I decided the beset course of action would be to RP a villain. An following that choice Catalyst, was born.. After a few battles with the senshi I decided I'd make up my own Senshi. I really didn't want to have to RP a girl since it wasn't really my thing at the time so instead I choose to make a male character. I wanted my character to be a loner, like my Cantosa Harpex, character from Vamps. I then grabbed ahold of my super vocab, and brought up the word nomad, being the only creative loner type name I could think of. That's how the character Sailor Nomad came about.
I had loads of fun for 2 years at that SM RPG, and meet many friends who I will never forget (Foxx No'Kal *Joe Delehanty*, Sailor Mercury *Cheryl -aka- Chibivenus*, Sailor Moon *Rachael*). Sadly I had to depart the RPG in the midst of my greatest Sailor Moon story, "Sailor Moon - Kingdom Come" which I am currently rewriting. I would still keep in contact with these three, but slowly the connections died out..
Foxx No'Kal (Joe) I still talk to on an almost daily basis, and we've become really good friends. We have a little site alliance now, but it's sort of slimmed down to where I send him hits instead of hits from both sides..
Chibivenus (Cheryl) was once an apprentice of sort of mine when she first started making webpages. I just gave her advice here and there and set her off onto the web. She has now gone on to exceed what I taught her (and how!) lil' Cheryl has become sort of an elite SM webmistress, and we just never talk anymore now (cause her ICQ says she's always busy, but I think she removed me from her list...... :{ )
Rachael is the one person out of the three that I have had the least contact with, but that's mainly cause she's gone off to college (she was 18 the last time we talked). I wish her the best of luck on whatever she's doing..
Well while I was still involved with the SM RPG I had made my first webpage (sometime in 1996) called "Sailor Nomad's Sailor Moon Gallery". It of course was (and still is) a big ol' mess (worthy of worst site of the month of January 1999 from the AQ). A short time after this site was created (I think in mid 1997) I was booted from Prodigy by the bearer of half my genes, my father. We went to GTE Worldnet, where we have now been for almost 2 years.
From my new non-AOLish server I set apon to explore the world of the net like never before! I started by going to the mysterious site known as Angelfire, here I started my second page, "Sailor Nomad's Sailor Moon World". I slowly began with a basic frame based layout. I added cheesy Senshi info, bad image galleries, sound files, my superb fan fiction, awards, etc.... Then came the time for my full awakening into SM Webmasterness.....
I SnApPeD!! I totally lost my nerve when it came to SNSMW. I broke down all of the info, galleries, awards, and sound links and put down a new rule for myself.. "Do not cater to newbies, they can find info anywhere, stick the Fan Fiction, that is your gift to the SM community..", and so began SNSMW v2.0... I started with a new layout (frames, went out the frame of my window!), new images, and a clean o' slate. I decided to stretch back to my roots, and opened up an RPG called SMM (Millenium), which would become the heart of my site.
Sailor Moon Millenium (SMM) would grow until I decided that another RPG was needed and then I gave birth to SMA (Apocalypse) which would become (in my humble opinion) one of the most original SM RPGs on the net.
With the sucess of these two RPGs my site quickly grew and I had a total of 2000 hits by November 1998. At this time I decided to begin to pages, and started "Sailor Moon Genesis" which sadly flopped (and has since been retired^_^). Just recently in 1999 I started "Nomad's Anime Lounge" which will be going into hybernation until I can get someone with better graphic knowledge than me. Now as of Feb 13th 1999 "Sailor Nomad's Sailor Moon World" no longer exists and "Sailor Moon Genesis" has moved into its spot on the coveted /fl/SailorNomad/ url..
Well that basicly is how I went from being humble (redacted), to Sailor Nomad champion of the Martian deserts, and all around nutcase..
