Queen Beryl's Throne Room
"Phoenix, is everything going as planned?" Queen Beryl asks as a man with shoulder length red hair walks up to her throne and bows.. "I do not plan on failing anymore..."
"Everything is going better than previously planned my Queen. We have received no opposition from the Sailor Senshi.." Phoenix says as he stands up straight looking almost regal in his fresh, and clean generals uniform..
"You are my lead general Phoenix.. Your success in preparing for my arrival on Earth must be assured at all costs.. I do not plan for my generals to be vanquished like my previous ones were.." Beryl says as she leans back in her throne.. "Ever since I stole the youthfulness from Dijin's younger sister, Naga, I have felt my powers increasing..."
"We have all noticed my Queen, and it has increased your beauty as well.." Phoenix says as he gazes upon Queen Beryl.. Her hair shorter, more lively, and red then it was when she last battled Sailor Moon. Her eyes hint at new found powers, and ambitions.
"I will go inform Horologium to prepare to activate the portal, and I will send Hydrus to complete her duties." Phoenix says as he quickly bows then turns away, and towards the exit.
"Do not fail me Phoenix, I must have perfection, and nothing less.." Queen Beryl shouts as Phoenix exits the throne room leavning Queen Beryl alone to herself.. "But if any of this is to be a success my son must be slain...."
Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo Bay, commercial loading docks
Dock sector 62, Dock 335
"Guys we're an hour behind schedule, get the damn carts on the barge already!!" A rather large, gray bearded, Dock Supervisor shouts as a pair of forklifts slowly drive by..
"We're on it boss!" One of the forklift driver shouts to his boss. "We'll pick up the pace!"
"You better, I've got other people who'd love to have your jobs!" The supervisor shouts as he sits down on a small crate and grabs a foil wrapped hamburger. "Nothing but a bunch of punks." He says as he bites into his hamburger and grabs a newspaper.
"He's gonna end up having a heart attack someday.." One of the forklift drivers shouts to his buddy as they pull their forklifts up to the main loading area.. "Well we better get these crates loaded or else we'll be starving..."
"Ya, that is unless the boss eats all the food in Tokyo!" The other driver shouts through laughs as he prepares to move his crate into position. Just as he begins to pull the lever to position the crate a low rumbleing noise interupts him.. "What was that?" He asks as he looks around to see where the noise came from..
"It was probably the boss' stomach.. Now come on we've got crates to load.." The other driver shouts as he watches the other driver finish moving his crate into position.
"Ya know I think I'm gonna go to the beach this weekend." The one driver says as he backs his now load free forklift back so his friend can unload. Just as he finishes backing up he stops and stares slack jawed out toward Tokyo Bay..
"We're around water all day why would you want to spoil your weekend by swimming in it? I'd do anything to have a day where I wouldn't even have to look at a single drop of.." The other forklift driver says as he unloads his crate and backs up, but his voice begins to drop off as he spots what his friend was stareing at. "water..."
They both stare in amazement as a 40-foot tidal wave nears the commercial docks at amazing speeds. It towers over the puny warehouses that line the docks, and dwarfs the workers who stare at it in utter terror. Behind the wave a woman wearing a dark gray generals uniform hovers with her arms streached out seemingly controling the wave with her hands.
"Hey you guys get back to work.. Man..." The dock supervisor shouts as he sets down his burger, but his tone quickly drops after he sees the tidal wave. "Mommy!!" The man shouts as he jumps off his crate and runs as quickly as he can to the dock exit.
Suddenly a helicopter flies onto the scene, camera crew ready to film. As the helicopter flies over the docks the wave begins to slowly fall, and the video is sent to the channel 8 news center for live TV feed.
"Zoom in on that lady!" The reporter in the helicopter shouts to the cameraman as the helicopter circles above the docks as the wave crashes.
The cameraman does as he’s ordered and zooms in on the woman. She has light purple hair and is wearing a dark gray generals suit with gold buttons down the front. She smiles as she watches the waves destruction, obviously pleased with her handy work. The helicopter quickly turns and heads straight for the mysterious lady who is still floating above the bay now with her arms crossed.
"Hmmmm? What have we here?" The lady says as she watches the helicopter approch her.
"Who are you!!" The reporter shouts to the mysterious lady by using a megaphone.
"3 of 7 tests have been done. Take them as a warning.." The lady says as she raises her arms to the heavens. "For Thy Kingdom Come!!!" She shouts as she quickly vanishes from sight.
"You get that?" The reporter shouts to the cameraman as he puts his megaphone away and sits back down..
"Every last second." The cameraman says as he turns off his camera and sits down in his seat. "And it was live video feed to the studio." He says as he grins and pats the camera.
Usagi’s Bedroom
Tokyo, Japan
"This is just to much!!" Usagi shouts as she watches the live footage of the attack on TV. "Tidal waves?! Walls of fire!? People with acid touch?!"
"Settle down Usagi!" Rei shouts as she hits Usagi over the head with a pillow. "You’re going to over work that tiny brain of yours."
"Guys?" Mina says as she walks into the room with a shopping bag over her back, and Artemis tagging along. "Sorry we were was late. Traffic’s busy today."
"I can’t imagine why.." Dijin says as he puts his hand over his face.. "It wouldn’t happen to do with a few freak attacks on the city would it?"
"Oh I know about them.. Can’t go anywhere in the city without hearing about’em.." Mina says as she sets her bag down. "So who’s behind them?"
"The Neoverse, and Queen Beryl." Mako says as she watches Mina sit down in the carpet in front of the bed. "Beryl’s up to her old tricks again, but now she’s got some new help."
"We really should go out and patrol the city.." Ami says as she stands up. "We might be able to catch one of them in the act."
"Good thinking Ami." Luna says as she jumps up on the bed and sits down next to Usagi.
"Let’s go then!" Usagi shouts as she jumps up and runs out the door..
"Come on!" Mina shouts as she, Ami, Luna, Dijin, Mako, Mina, Rei, and Artemis , stand up and run out after Usagi.
"I haven’t seen Usagi this ready to fight since we last meet Queen Beryl." Luna says as Dijin picks her up.
"Ya, I hope she knows just how serious this could get.." Dijin says to Luna as he walks down the stairs as the others walk out the front door.
"So where are you guys going?" Mr. Tsukino asks as he walks up to Dijin just before he walks out.
"We’re going to.. um.. To the arcade too.. Play the new Sailor V game.. Ya.." Dijin says as he scrambles for words. "To the arcade!" He shouts as he runs out the door..
"He must have sugar for blood or something." Mr. Tsukino says as he watches Dijin go running down the sidewalk after the others.
Neoverse
Phoenix’s Planning Room
The walls are thick with dark green vines, yet the air is fresh and inviting. One light pinpoint of light no more then two feet wide is centered in the room. There is little furniture, save for a small podium with a single book on top in front of the light. Phoenix stands in front of the podium one hand riffling through the book, the other slowly moving through his long red hair.
"Such a pathetic civilization." Phoenix says in disgust as he slams the book closed and stares at its title. "The wonders of Human Civilization." He says with an even greater hint of disgust. "We should just destroy Earth and be rid of it!" He shouts as he hurls the book into the darkness hoping to be rid of it for good. "But we must follow Beryl’s orders, and she wants to merge our world with Earth." He says as he walks away from his podium and stands over by the only source of light in the room.
"My love what troubles you?" A beautiful young woman with long auburn hair, and piercing green eyes says lovingly as she walks in. "Are you upset with Beryl again?"
"Ara, my love." Phoenix says as the woman walks up and places her hand on Phoenix’s shoulder and he then places his hand on hers. "She wishes to taint our world by merging it with Earth."
"I know my love, but if she is successful we will surely reap the rewards." Ara says as she wraps her arms around Phoenix and rests her head on his shoulder. "We only have three more generals to send to Earth, and then it will all be over."
"Yes, it will all be over." Phoenix says as he strokes Ara’s head.. "It will all be over."
