Chapter 9
The Brothers Leave Turia
The brothers spent much of their time in the tavern; they were amassing a good amount of coin. The slaves of the tavern were known as the best in the city.
Zuess seemed very fond of the city. He spent much time in the main hall of the city discussing politics with members high in the council of Turia.
SENSEI and the other brothers started to see less and less of him in the tavern.
Zuess soon became a respected member of the council.
There had been much tension between the Turians and the Tuchuks of the plains. The Tuchuks eventually raided the city and there was a bloody battle fought. The Tuchuks were very wily. It seemed as if they were going to take the city.
The Wolf Brothers all fought side by side with the Turians. Then the current Ubar was killed.
Zuess had lead many battles when with the raiders of Klima. He had been asked to step up to the position of Ubar. He did so with the full support of his brothers.
The battle waged on fiercely. Just as quickly as it had started the battle ended. Such was the way of the Plains.
The tavern was flourishing.
Zuess decided to remain Ubar even after the war had passed and the warriors of Turia supported him.
Sensei and the other brothers had decided that Turia was not the place for them.
They spoke with Zuess who decided to stay in the city as Ubar. They divided coins amongst them and left the tavern in Zuess’ care.
They waved goodbye to their brother and the group of 7 rode out of the gates.
