Chapter 12
The Glorious City of Ar
Sensei and his group of brothers rode north. The stopped at many villages and cities on their journey. They even stopped at the greatest City on all of Gor. The City of Ar. The many decorated bridges and high cylinders brought the brothers to a state of awe. There were more people than the brothers had ever saw in one place. Slaves ran abundant. There were taverns and brothels. There were fine dining and the Central Cylinder was amazing.
Sabre Wolf found plenty of gambling to do. Zadedar spent a lot of time in the Central Cylinder the politicians of the city seemed to like him. Zadedar also hand won the respect of many of the Tuarentian guards and the First Sword of Ar, Takinatin.
Sensei and Morgan spent their time looking over maps and talking to people about various places. One place in particular caught Morgan’s attention, A city called Barash My’Dash. Sensei had heard of a port city that was ruled by a council of pirates. He had also heard rumors of Spirit Wolf being sighted there.
The city life was easy to get caught up in and Sensei noticed the brothers getting very comfortable. Sensei decided it was time to ride out of Ar. He called the brothers together and stated he would leave the next morning. Morgan was ready to go to. Sabre had not much luck with gambling so he thought it was a good time to leave. The only one that seemed reluctant was Zadedar. He too decided to go with his brothers as well.
Zadedar went to the Central Cylinder and bade all his friends goodbye.He spent a while in a tavern with Takinatin. The bond between the two warriors had grown strong. Zadedar rode for the gates of the greatest city of all of Gor. His brothers waited for him just outside. He got to the gate and turned his kaiila to face the city and stated for a moment. Then he reins the beast around and spurred it to his brothers.
The brothers rode along discussing where they were going to go next. Morgan wanted to head for the city he had heard of and Sensei the port he had heard of. Finally Morgan’s excitement won ot and the brothers headed for Barash My’dash.
