Tom is now officially qualified to be a bus driver.
The first week in December was a very busy and hectic week. I have been completing the required Mentor Bus Driving hours this week so I can drive a school bus and take my class off campus for CBI (I got my CDL and this is the last hurdle). Needless to say ... AM routes and waking up at 4:30am has not been fun.
Then... January 5th! I am humbled that DeLand Middle School selected me for the Commitment Award for month of December. For getting my CDL license and bus driver's endorsement in order to take my students off campus for our weekly CBI (Community Based Instruction).
