The Robinsons came to Tennessee for a short vacation before starting back to school in August. Heather had planned to bring the boys (Jon and Drew) for a visit to Michigan before meeting up with Tom later in TN. But her plan was thwarted when they had a flat tire on the way. (The next day she had to get four new tires.)
So they ended up staying at Mom-Mom’s house for a couple of extra days before Tom arrived. Heather invented a low carb “soft taco pizza” that turned out to be pretty good! When Tom got there he brought along a brand new laptop for his mom, and Heather got it set up for her.
Tom also brought along some meat and prepared meals for the family while they were here. (Mom’s favorite is his special pork ribs.)
We went out to lunch at some of our favorite places, including Hwy 55, Troyer’s (and Sunrise Dairy for ice cream), and had a wonderful meal at Stagecoach Place Café – prepared by Taylor! On their last day, they got up too late for lunch but made it to Linda’s for supper and then went to Sonic for dessert.
While they were here, Tom played all the recent episodes of “Mandalorian” for his mom so now they are all caught up.
