Terry Murray fires Duane Sutter and Joe Cirella

Pete (RN) - Terry Murray along with his brother Brian Murray decided to fire assistants Duane Sutter and Joe CirellaThe mutual decision came on Saturday at the NHL Entry Draft. Slava Lenard is the likely candidate for the position and it is likely that Billy Smith will be promoted in his duties with the team. This follows directly in the path where this organization is headed. The management has continued to deal players that have been on the team since its conception so why not stop there, why not fire coaches and other personnel. There is no loyalty and that is the problem with this team. I mean come on lets just deal the whole team away quickly so we don't have to put up with continuous painful seasons like the last one. However, it's not fair for me to judge the decision yet. Slava Lenard is a fully capable and qualified coach, I am just sad to see Sutter and Cirella leave.
