Encore: What You're Doing

This show was recently upgraded to disc and has yet to be re-reviewed. The previous review (tape version) is below, which may, and probably will be changed in the future:

Comments/Highlights: Nice show from the 2112 tour! This concert is from a FM broadcast and is pretty much a soundboard recording. It is a little bit distant and there is a little signal strength lost in parts of the show, but not much. There is a pretty amusing CB break-in at the start of By-Tor & the Snow Dog, but it only lasts a few seconds. All the instruments come through nicely, although the high end cymbals can be pretty hard to hear. Geddy is quite talkative at times. The set is very nice, consisting of songs from the first 4 albums. Great versions of Bastille Day, Lakeside Park, and the complete and amazing version of By-Tor & the Snow Dog! Also, one of the earliest versions of the then just released 2112 :) You also get the wonderful Working Man medley, which includes Neil's excellent drum solo! And of course, the great encore of What You're Doing. Great show!!
