"Next stop, Miami Beach!" AJ exclaimed, peering out the limousine window. "They will be surprised to see us again." He continued. "And why again are we coming here?" Kevin piped up from the back seat. "Cause were finished touring, were in South Beach and besides...Kevin you know you got something for Pat." Teased Brian. "The feeling's mutual, were just friends, get it through your thick skulls . . . but really, what y'all should be worrying about isn't Pat and I, its AJ and Sheena." AJ just turned and gave Kevin a Nasty look. Kevin shrugged it off and went back to sleep. AJ knew in the back of his head that he had something for her though.
Meanwhile, in Miami Beach, Pat just woke up Sheena from her 6-hour catnap. "Get up stupid its…and clean up this mess." "How did I get stuck with you as a roommate? "she complained. "Pure Luck, now shut up and get ready, we have to go shopping." Releasing a sign of anguish, she got up, tossed everything in the closet and looked around for her car keys . . . "Damn it! Where in the hell are my car keys? !" She exclaimed. "I don't know, let's just take my car, at least I know where my keys are." Answered Pat.
"Are we there yet? My butt starting to hurt." Whined Nick. "We didn't need to hear all that," AJ muttered, "we should be there in a while." During the trip to Miami Beach, Howie was the quiet one. He had just broken up with someone and was very heartbroken. (Damn that Korean girl from INBYH)The guys were anxious to see their friends again, and besides what were the chances that Howard might get a hook up? The boys were even happier when they found out that Aaron Carter would no longer be touring with them. Wouldn't you be? Brian looked out the Limo window to see if anything looked familiar." The address says Coral Gables, 13th place…there's a gate with 13th place on it." The chauffeur buzzed in for an answer and the gates automatically open. The Limo made its way inside. As they went through the path, the boys were amazed and astonished to see the size of this "house". The Limo pulled up behind the cars. AJ opened the door and stepped outside first.
"Holy Shit." He mumbled. "Talk about big ass houses!" The guys stood in astonishment. "Are you sure we're at the right house?" Howie asked. Brian looked down at the paper with the address on it, and compared it to the house address. "Yeah, it is the right house. Then what are we waiting for? Lets go."
The boys made their way up the stairs, and we're about to ring the doorbell when the door suddenly sprawled open. "AJ?" Sheena exclaimed "Move out of my way! You're always in my way God Da--.... Kevin?" Pat exclaimed.
"Were Baaaack!" Nick taunted. Sheena walked over to AJ and greeted him with a hug, Pat did the same. After the reunion, Sheena invited the whole gang inside "So, what brings you guys to Miami?" She asked. "Well were not on tour so we just swung by to see what's up." Answered Howie.
After a while the conversation began to fall, and the topics ended. Brian noticed a third party was missing. "Hey Pat, where's Ashlee at?" He asked. "Oh She's on her flight back from Europe and should be here anytime soon". "Great. I'm dying to see her again." Brian said. Everyone paused for a moment after that remark from Brian. "What???" Everyone went back to what they were discussing when taxicab pulled up in the driveway. Brian recognized the figure that stepped out from the cab. He ran to the door and waited for that split second. As Ashlee walked up to the front door and reached out to open it, Brian swung it open and said: "Honey your Home!" Ashlee took one look at Brian and dropped her luggage to hug him endlessly.
Brian helped her inside with her luggage. As they made their way in, Ashlee greeted the rest of them, hugging each one for a quick second. "Nick what happened?" Ashlee took notice how he got somewhat chubby. "AJ, you've gone all natural! "She saw that he wanted to lay off the bleach for a while. "Kevin. You look as magnificent as ever" Kevin always knew how to keep in shape, even during touring. "Howie! I like the new hair do!" Howie had decided to straighten his hair out. Then she turned to Brian. "Brian. I don't know what to say." He got closer to her and simply said, "You don't have to say anything " He slowly leaned over to and kissed her.
"So where are you guys planning to crash at?" Pat asked, breaking the moment. "Well were not sure just yet, we might just crash at a hotel as usual." Brian Answered. "Nonsense! We have room! You are all welcome to stay here!" Ashlee exclaimed. "Well.. That's true, we do have more than enough rooms.. I don't see the problem." Pat pointed out.
Ashlee went up to help Brian settle in, Sheena helped AJ and Howie find rooms, and Pat helped Kevin and Nick find rooms. As Pat was coming down the stairs the phone rang:
AJ came walking down the stairs, saying odd things. He noticed Pat was sitting down by the phone. "Wuz up?" he chanted. "Lou wants us, all 8 of us, to go up to Monroe County to the Yale Laboratory." Pat answered. "That place is like my second home." AJ replied." I hate those yellow pills with the red strips on them. They're hard to swallow. And the jackets, they're not that bad. . ."he continued. "Not for that stupid! Y'all got a video shoot coming up." Pat pointed out. "Oh… never mind then." AJ acted if he hadn't said anything, and simply walked away.
Pat called for a meeting after she hung up the phone. She told everyone what was going on. "Damn it, why do I have to go? You people know I don't engaged in any sort of activity that involves physical movement!" Sheena whined.
"Quit being a BUM." exclaimed Nick. "Keep it up scrub, keep talkin' shit in my house I'll kick your ass out!" She shouted back
"Will you two shut the fuck up?!" Yelled Howie. Everyone was surprised to hear young Howard say such, how can I say.... "Un-Howardly words."
"Anyway, we must arrive there by Monday." Pat continued. "that gives us all 2 days to prepare. We take the first flight out at Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m.…do we have any more arguments what so ever? Good…"
Lou surprised everyone with this news. The Boys were only gonna stay 1 day in Miami instead of 2 weeks like they planned. "Then it's settled. Everyone be ready by 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
After the meeting everyone went back to what they were doing before. Ashlee accompanied Brian upstairs, Howie went upstairs to settle in, AJ went to the kitchen to stuff his face, and Sheena went back to arguing with Nick.
Kevin stayed behind, and took a seat. "How can you put up with us? " he asked Pat.
"I don't know, maybe because I actually like you guys." She answered. "Anyone In particular? "He questioned. She knew that he was trying to make small talk, so why not give him something to remember?
Pat walked over to Kevin, grabbed the sides of his chair and said to him, "there might be, but I'm gonna let you figure it out." She was already close enough, so she made the first move on him. A short yet passionate kiss. Then walked away to the garage. Kevin just sat there looking surprised and happy at the same time.
"I saw that!" Nick said pointing at Kevin. "why don't you just ask her out already? "he continued. "I don't think she even likes me." Kevin added.
"Oh come on! She was all over you! That was no ordinary lip lock!" Nick emphasized.
AJ came out of the kitchen with an Ice cream cone in his hand, saying something even stupider than before. "No dignity, no dought baby, no dignity ,no dought. So what's happenin' y'all?" Asked AJ. "Pat just shoved her tongue down Kevin's throat." Nick said. "For real dawg? Ahhh! See, there's no action, like some tongue satisfaction!!" AJ exclaimed.
"Nick shut the hell up, stop lying, she just kissed me, end of story. Get over it." Kevin explained. He got up from the chair and went to his room upstairs. AJ just walked back to the kitchen, while Nick just stood there by himself. "Fine, just ditch me why don't you."
Nick went upstairs to Brian's room to see what he was up to. As he made his way to Brian's room, he noticed the music was pretty loud. He knocked on the door, but nobody answered, so he just opened the door while asking his question. "Hey Brian's where's the video P---..." Nick cut himself off by the sight of Ashlee and Brian kissing in his room. "NEVER MIND!" he yelled.
Meanwhile in the kitchen, Sheena realized it was way passed her snack time...again. She noticed that AJ had his head in the fridge.
"Get your happy ass out of there, it's my turn!" She commanded. "Hey, you're supposed to be nice to me." AJ said." I am nice to you, now move out of my way. "She argued.
She wasn't exactly polite to AJ, but she really did like him. She always said that those "Ricans always knew how to look good."
AJ stepped back out of the fridge and walked over to the counter, and sat on one of the stools and watched her.
"Ok fruits, vegetable's, sweets, orange juice, beer, water, dairy, and some other stuff. There's nothing to eat in here!" She joked. A snicker came from AJ. "What are you snickering at?" asked Sheena. "Nothing…" He answered. "Uh huh…sure." She said.
A couple of hours had passed and Brian thought about having a night out on the town. Sure it was a good idea, but then again there's a possibility of getting mobbed by teenagers, and middle aged women...It was well worth the risk. "Y'all ready? "Yelled Ashlee. "YES!" Brian shouted back. "Sheena! Hurry up!" She continued. "I'm coming' I'm coming'! "She replied. As they waited for Sheena to come down, AJ took the opportunity to talk to Kevin.
"So you gonna ask Pat out tonight or what?" Kevin looked at AJ. "How many times must I tell you she doesn't feel anything for me, and..its mutual." he responded. "If you say so." AJ said.
Everyone was very well dressed. The guys were in phat suits that literally took your breath away. "Ok, we got everyone...where's Pat at?" Nick asked. At the split second Pat came walking down the steps. "You called?" She said. Kevin's mouth just dropped open at the sight of her. "Whoa." Howie proclaimed breathlessly. "Three good lookin' chicas, I'm a lucky Rican!"
"Howie, you ain't gettin' none of, em." Brian pointed out. Kevin walked to the stairs as well to help her down the last 4 steps. "Are we all ready?" Pat continued. AJ passed Kevin and said, "Mutual eh? If I were you I'd rethink that."
The night was young, and they were up for something totally out of the ordinary. They decided that the best way to spend the night would be aboard the "Lady Luxury" Cruise Ship.
It was a clear night and they all had just arrived in the Limo. Brian opened the door and helped each female out of the car. He and Ashlee made their way up first hand in hand. Sheena and AJ pretty much had the right idea and also walked in hand and hand. Kevin decided to take a stab in the dark and asked Pat to accompany him into the ship, offering her his arm. She willingly accepted his invitation and made their way up the dock.
Nick and Howie walked up the loading dock arguing and placing bets on who would get most girls, no contest. You Know Howie was gonna rock the boat.
They made their way into the ship and split themselves up. "I'm gonna get me some honeyz tonight!" Nick protested. "More honeys than you!"
Howie just took one look at him and began laughing. "Let's not forget I am the Latino Lover." he stated. The battle went on and on....and on.
The ship sounded it horn and began sailing.
Brian and Ashlee wanted some quiet time to themselves so they went to the only place onboard that could offer that. The top deck. Where there would be no disruptions.
Sheena and AJ went inside the ship, strait for the dinning lounge. They grabbed some food, took their seats, and had a nice discussion.
"So tell me about yourself," He asked. "What do you want to know?" She snapped back.
"Things you like, things you hate." AJ explained. "Ever since I met you we never really got to talk, and gotten to know each other." He pointed out. The conversation went on.
Kevin and Pat, the last two on the list, didn't bother to eat or anything, they just went walking around on the deck. Nothing was really happening, they were just taking a moonlight stroll. Kevin thought to himself: "It's either now or never. Perfect timing, perfect scenery." This had never happened to him before.
Kevin decided to himself that he was gonna ask her out, he turned to her and broke the silence. "Would you like to go out with me?" Pat herself was pretty surprised to hear those words, and she was glad he finally said something.
She gazed into his beautiful green eyes, which looked magnificent as ever in the moonlight, got closer, and gave him a short kiss.
Kevin pulled away, "Is that a yes?" he asked. "You figure it out." She said smiling. Smiling back, he knew it was a yes. "Cool. Now let's get back to what we were doing..."
Howie & Nick were walking around the ship trying to find some girls just standing around. "The girl was looking at me." Nick said. "Yes, but I got her number." Howie pointed out. "Now come on I gotta find AJ & Sheena.
"Why?" Nick asked, "the gambling table is going start soon. I'll find A.J & Sheena, and you find Pat and Kevin. Then when I find AJ Ill get Ashlee and Brian from the top deck." He continued.
AJ and Sheena were in the music lounge now. He suggested to go dancing after having their lite snack, and she agreed to it. They both were having one of the best times together, and the fact that they had a lot in common, they learned a lot about each other. After a while, they took a seat and ordered a drink.
"You're a good dancer" He told her. "Thanks. Well I had a damn good partner. "She replied. AJ decided to take a stab in the dark himself.
"Do you want to go out sometime? I mean after that Yale Laboratory thing. "he asked. She thought about it, and gave her response. "I don't see why not." she answered back. Howie came walking in the lounge and headed straight for the bar. Obviously he knew they would be there.. "Hey guys," He said "Gambling is going to start. "he continued.
"I don't gamble, I drink." Stated Sheena. AJ tried to give it a shot to try to persuade her. "Come on it will be fun, you don't even have to gamble just watch. " She thought about if for a second or two, and gave him the answer. "Fine."
Meanwhile, Nick was just wandering the outside the boat trying to find Kevin and Pat. "Ok, I went to the top deck, Ashlee and Brian were up there.(Brian had told Nick to leave them the hell alone. So I guess there not in on gambling). "Ok last one is bottom deck. They should be there. . . I hope." He thought.
As Nick made his way around the corner, he stopped dead in his tracks. There he saw Pat and Kevin engaged in a moment of romance…a long moment of romance. Nick really know how to approach this situation without getting slapped. He quickly thought of something that would distract them…and avoid a slap.
