Mr. America's Bio

Mr. America was born as Terry Gene Bollea August 11, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia. When he was born, he was 10 pounds. He was always the big kid in the block. In his first day of school, a next to him asked him if his head has always been that large. Terry was feeling bad after she said that. When he reached the age of 12, he was 6 ft tall and almost 200 pounds. He used to play baseball when he was a kid til he broked his arm from throughing a ball to 2nd base. After that, he quit playing baseball.

In Terry's late teen, he was in a rock band making little money. Terry was playing the electric guitar. Terry started to get very -consince. Then terry started to work out because before, he couldn't go to the beach and take off his shirt. Terry started to lift weights and going to the gym. Terry also was in a diet. He was living in a hotel room that costs $15 a day.

Terry and his friend Ed Leslie better known as Brutus "The Barber' Beefcake and Terry's dad used to go to the wrestling matches down town wrestlers with bad hiar cuts. The matches used to be in a little hot arena/garage.

Terry's trainer was Hiro Madsuda the strict trainer. The first time Terry wrestled Madsuda, he broked Terry's leg just to prove to him what wrestling is really about. Terry's leg was broken for almost a year.

Then later in life, Terry got into the bussiness. A guy told him that there isa TV show called The Incredible Hulk and he told Terry that he is bigger than The Hulk. Then Terry called himself Terry "The Hulk" Boulder. He was supposed to be the super destroyer.

Terry gave up then he ran to Terry Funk. Funk told Terry Bollea not to give up and there is a man in New York named Vince McMahon. Terry Bollea headed to New York. He was wrestling for Vince McMahon Sr. and the WWE (back then known as WWWF World Wide Wrestling Federation). Terry made his WWE debut as The Fabulous Hulk Hogan. That night in his debut, he wrestled Ted DiBiase and defeated him.

Terry was offered to play in Rocky III with Sylvester Stalone and Terry was going to play as Thunder Lips in the movie. Terry told Vince McMahon Sr. and he didn't like the idea he said Terry is a wrestler not and actor. Then Vince fired Terry for appearing in Rocky III. Then after that, Terry decided to go to Japan and wrestle there. Then when he returned, he wrestled for the AWA. Terry was going to win the AWA title but if he did, he had to give a certain percentage of his money plus the trip to Japan. Terry didn't like the offer then he quit.

Terry got a phone call from Vince McMahon Sr.'s son Vince McMahon saying to Terry that he is taking over and he wanted to make Terry larger than life in 1984. In 1984, Terry got married and returned to the WWE (back then known as the WWF). Terry wrestled as Hulk Hogan. he made his debut at Madison Square Garden defeating the Iron Sheik for the WWE title. Hulkamania was born. Terry was a huge movie star/wrestler.

In 1993, Terry quietly retired from pro wrestling. Then Ted Turner owner of WCW World Championship Wrestling offered Terry a job. Terry then returned to the wrestling bussiness working for the WWE rival, WCW.

Terry was stuck with Vince McMahon because of some Steroid Trial. Terry saved Vince and the WWE if he would've told the real truth, then the WWE would be out of bussiness and all the superstars would be in jail.

Terry returned to WCW as Hulk Hogan defeating Ric Flair at bash at the Beach '94.
