The mid-price MGM UA reissue from the late '80s. This came out at the time MGM UA's distribution changed from Orion to Warner Home Video.

When The Hunger was released as part of the Terror Vision range of horror classics, it made its widescreen debut. The tape also featured the theatrical trailer and a set of three collectors' cards with credits and info.

Two of the cards from the Terror Vision special edition.

Two different French video jackets printed in film magazines when The Hunger was shown on national TV, so that the discerning viewer could package his home video recording in an official-looking sleeve. can't have done any favours for MGM/UA!
Note the picture of Deneuve on the back of the TeleK7 edition reveals that the film poster design was in fact a composite image!
NTSC videos released as part of MGM UA's Contemporary Classics series, in both regular and widescreen formats.
