This text graphic was made using a tube I made from another graphic with gold in it.
(EyeCandy~ Corona Plugin was also used to create the smoky background).
This was made using a piece of material I cropped from a graphic.
And this was made with one of the Butterflies in everyone's "Tube Tool" Folder.
This effect can only be done with the "Tube Tool".
EDIT>NEW 600 Wide 400 Height, any color. Pick any wide font you want for this Tutorial...any font can be used. Using your "Text Tool" with any colors selected apply your Text to your new image.
Make sure you have "Marching Ants" around your Text. Go to your "Tube Tool" and pick a tube from your "Tool Options" and swish through your text while holding down the left mouse button. Make sure everything is covered. I chose a section of gray hair from a Indian as my tube. Once done Image>3D>Drop Shadow
Making a tube to use for this effect is very easy. Crop a section from a graphic using your "Crop Tool" then IMAGE>CROP and paste it as a new Layer to a transparent background. IMAGE>CROP that image down leaving a VERY small outside area transparent. MERGE LAYERS>VISIBLE and Export as a Picture Tube.
NOTE: AOL is very unkind to graphics and some may look smudgy.
