I use to live in a small town off the Pacific Coast called Port Hueneme. I lived a mile from the beach, which I spent a lot of time at while growing up.
I was born in Oxnard our neighbor city, but raised in Port Hueneme. I saw Port Hueneme and Oxnard grow as I grew up. They were filled with Orchards and Fields. We use to play in the Orchards and walk 8 miles to visit my Grandmother in Oxnard. I saw the Orchards and fields come down and houses and businesses come up. It was sad to see our agricultrial end. Port Hueneme didn't grow much, but Oxnard grew too big and caterd to the rich.
Thats when my Husband and I decided to move and retire, in Henderson, NV.
My Husband George is retiring in December 2004. My husband still resides in CA until retirement. Meanwhile, I live in Henderson with my two sons, Harold and Charley.
I also have a daughter, Marti, who lives in California. Marti has given me 4 wonderful grandchildren, 3 Grandaughters and a Grandson.
I enjoy Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking, Computering, Swimming, Walks and Visiting. I also love visiting with my Husband, Children and Grandchildren.
