Had a quick meal with Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom in Fitzroy St. on Wednesday. He wants to thank his mum for getting him into acting.
"We were brought up in Canterbury, in England, and she used to make my sister and I compete in Bible reading competitions every year," he said. "And I'd do quite well. That's how I got the taste for performing."
Bloom, who recently finished filming Ned Kelly, says the movie's wrap party was "wild" and he can feel a sore throat coming on. Don't worry girls, it hasn't affected his face.
