Guardian Of The Cosmic Winds:
Aeolus, the guardian of the cosmic winds, lures Ulysses to his
space-station as a form of entertainment for its inhabitants. In order
to leave, Ulysses must complete a series of dangerous games set by his
captor.
The Eternal Punishment:
Sisyphus is a man who, condemned by the Gods, has to push boulders up
a slope and destroy them, only to have them reformed and rolled down.
The Gods tell him that Ulysses will pass by soon, and suggest that he
should take over the eternal punishment. When the group take pity on
Sisyphus, his plan very nearly succeeds.
Flowers Of Fear:
A gigantic space-station hospital as large as a planet is almost
deserted, but still interests Ulysses because it contains a cure to
bring his crew back to life. The medicine practised there is so
advanced that the Gods, concerned over its power created robot flowers,
which upon detecting life-forms destroy them mercilessly. Ulysses and
Telemachus, realising the danger in time, leave the planet which they
explored, but Yumi, desperate to cure her brother and the rest of the
crew is left on the surface with Nono.
