Disc 10
Recollection / Tempest

Recollection:
This episode is about Subaru’s attempt to deal with things now that the Knights are dismantled and she is on her own.
As Subaru walks along, she hears players talk about her, calling her an imposter, and claiming that the real Subaru probably got bored and stopped playing. They start to attack her, but Kurim steps in. He asks her what she wants to do. She says she wants to meet players without sex, age, and hobbies to interfere. Is that wrong? Kurim tells her she needs to stop looking to the past and stand up for herself. With Kurim’s encouragement, she is able to stand up to the p-killers verbally. She then confesses she hates to quit over little things, and she can’t quit yet because what she started isn’t completed. Kurim gives her a secret weapon – his real world phone number. He tells her he still wants to be on Subaru’s side.
Through her journeys, Subaru meets a girl, Kachikan. She is also an imposter, or so she says. As she and Subaru talk more, she begins to realize that she is the real Subaru. Kachikan explains that she doesn’t like the Scarlet Knights, as they try to act so high and mighty. Duties and responsibilities come from the real world. In The World, people play to have fun. She asks Subaru to be friends. Subaru realizes Kachikan doesn’t have friendly intentions. Kachikan starts taunting her, saying if she kills her, she can then post to the BBS. She bets Subaru hasn’t leveled up much. Subaru tells her she doesn’t care if she kills her. Kachikan attacks.
Subaru is lying almost dead. She gets up. Tsukasa is nearby. She runs to him and hugs him, telling him to hold her. In real life, the girl who plays Subaru starts crying.

Tempest:
Tsukasa and Subaru sit holding hands.
Mimiru is fighting in a dungeon. Bear joins her. They talk. Bear asks if she wants to meet Tsukasa offline now. She says no. When he can log out, they are supposed to go to Shimokita. It would be breaking the rules to meet him now.
Sora meets up with Kinkan and later BT. BT and Sora appear to be plotting to use Kinkan to their advantage, as he is overconfident, and therefore won’t get hurt emotionally at least. BT meets Kinkan again and talks about the Key of the Twilight. He asks what obtaining it will do. BT admits she doesn’t know. Maybe it will open Pandora’s box. Kinkan thinks it’s a plot against him and teleports, telling her he’ll be in touch.
Subaru confides to Bear that she has been spending time with Tsukasa. He says that together, maybe they can heal each other. Bear then organizes a meeting about the Key of the Twilight. Kurim asks his real age and Bear replies that he’ll be 44 this year. Mimiru comments that he’s as old as her dad. Kurim says he’ll come whenever he can access. Everyone appears ready to solve this mystery.
Later, Subaru and Tsukasa watch the stars. Tsukasa tells her he likes watching the stars with her. He says that they are the same. He then tells Subaru about the sanctuary and the little girl. He says that whenever he goes to the place happy, something bad happens to the little girl. Subaru asks if she can see the place, and Tsukasa takes her there. Unfortunately, the little girl isn’t there when they get there.
BT informs Kinkan that Subaru and Bear have formed an alliance. She’s trying to get Kinkan to fight Kurim.
Subaru and Mimiru talk. Subaru tells Mimiru about the place and how the girl wasn’t there. She says she shouldn’t have left Tsukasa. They can’t get back to the place without Tsukasa’s power. Back in the sanctuary, the Voice is quite mad at Tsukasa for bringing Subaru there. An invisible force tosses Tsukasa about and the Voice says I fear I don’t need you. There’s a yellow whirlpool like effect in the sky and Tsukasa is drawn into it. He screams don’t erase me, as the energy tears away at him. Parts of his clothes are torn of and sucked into the energy force. Tsukasa is in a lot of pain. Finally, the energy releases him and he falls to the bed. As he lies there almost motionless, he says I am nothing.
