Throughout the 1960's and 1970's Penguin books published the 'Pelican' range of non-fiction paperbacks (as above). Characterised by their distintive blue/green covers, a variety of topics and subjects were covered, mostly economics, cultural theory, psychology, sociology and politics. The books normally lean towards the left-wing although often they are objective. Most of the books today are out of date but they are of historical interest to see what was expressed at the time of publication. -from charity shops and other second hand book sellers

Original dial telephone from the 1970's. Cream in colour and with recognisable bell tone, the perfect addition to a stylistic lounge setting. The phone is equally useful for plotting and scheming as it is for ordering Chinese take away meals. Give me a call sometime. -ordered from ebay online auction
