Call Back in The Morning
Call Back in the Morning

Erm, typed by moi, copied from the scripts. It takes part at the beginning of Act Two, but was omitted from the film because, along with Closed For Renovation, people felt it was no longer needed to move the story along. The reason the lyrics appear muddled is because it is Seymour and Audrey talking to lots of different people on different telephone lines, all at the same time, as the florists becomes more successful. This track is very hard to find and if anyone has it on MP3 then I'd be eternally grateful if you could send it to me on MSN or whatever... please email me and let me know.

Now, you were saying?
Flowers for a prom corsage?
Flowers for an entourage?
Flowers to the funeral home?
Leaving from St Andrew's Roman
Catholic Chirch at ninth and vine?
Forty dollars. Hold the line.
First thing in the morning. Fine
There'll be there in the morning!
Can you hold?
The rosebowl!
Seymour, the rosebowl!
You know that big,
Inflated estimate we wrote?
For the rosebowl?
Well, it's the rosebowl?
It seems they want to buy
The flowers here
For every single float!

You can't keep the tournament waiting!
Mushik & Son.. can you hold?
Please hold, can you hold?
It's just as the plant foretold
Just a minute
It's business like who'd have ever guessed.
Mushnik & Son, that was me!
Please wait, that was me..
The business is doing great..
On channel three!
So why am I feeling so depressed?

Seven thousand boutonnieres?
Please, i've only got two ears!
Hollyhocks are hardier,
Which ones would your wife prefer?
Were you waiting long?
I'm sorry sir!
Seymour, that reporter-
She wants another interview
Said to bring the plant with you
Audrey, it's that new account
Sorry, that's the right amount
Daisies only come in white
Sir, I'm too worn out to fight
Sorry, those are out of stock
Seymour! Look! It's six o'clock!
Call back in the morning, will you?
Call back in the morning, won't you?
Call back in the morning, can you?
Call back in the morning, thank you!
Call back in the morning!
