CORRIGANVILLE MOVIE RANCH
The Silvertown Stunt Shows and The Rodeo

When Ray "Crash" Corrigan opened his movie ranch to the general public, he instituted a variety of shows throughout his property. Most of these shows were the stunt shows. This booklet illustrates the early stunt shows performed on the Silvertown main street. In 1953, to better serve his visitors, Ray "Crash" Corrigan purchased a ranch which fronted on Los Angeles Avenue (now Kuehner Drive). Prior to this time, the only entrance to his ranch was down a side road (Smith Road). With this new frontage property, a parking area was begun as well as adding a rodeo arena. Weekend rodeo shows became a staple of the ranch into the 1960's. Here is a sampling of those shows, in beautiful photographs by Larry Parson. This is a Flip Book.
