MOMENT FOR MURDER

The staff excutives of the Rankin Advertising Agency weren't particularly happy about the opportunity to spend a weekend in Connecticut. For it meant separation from their families, and a probably business conference with a client, Matthew Kramer, chairman of the board of Mayfair Frozen Foods, who was apt to be disagreeable. To their surprise, however, they found Kramer interested not in business but in the whereabouts of his beautiful young blonde wife, and in need of company to dispel his loneliness.

Although the situation was not as anticipated, it was just as bad for frayed nerves; and Kramer's sudden death, apparently from a heart attack, was not exactly designed to ease the tension.

Then a bottle of pills and certain other signs pointed to murder, and really threw the dead man's guests into a panic.
