BRITISH NATIONAL STUDIOS

The town of Elstree is located approximately 8 to 10 miles northwest of London, England. It has become known as the "British Hollywood" as six studio complexes have been situated in the town.

In 1926, British National Studios was built in Elstree. The studio then became British International Pictures, Associated British Picture Corporation, EMI Studios, EMI-M.G.M. Studios, EMI Studios, and THORN-EMI Studios.

It was during the Associated British Picture Corporation period that "Tarzan and the Lost Safari" used the studio and EMI Studios for "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, King of the Apes".
