The CL Studio & Backlot western town is located 35 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on 2,000 acres of a 15,000 acre ranch. The town has 24 complete buildings, 13 with finished interiors. There are also a trapper's cabin, a sod hut built into a hill, two ranches, a honeymoon cabin, and a mining site.
The western town was built for the "Lonesome Dove" television series.
